I understand the heartbreak a mom feels. You do what you can to teach them right but as adults they make their own choices, God allows us to make our own choices right or wrong

I am not a Christian. I am not a Conservative. I may disagree with the Duggar's lifestyle, but I will defend to the death their right to live as they please. Cutting their program was wrong. They have millions of fans around the world, and have a right to show and encourage others based on their lifestyle. Like I said, I don't have the same values but I find the Duggars fascinating and intriguing. I enjoy watching the courtships, the weddings, and the births. I find it interesting and entertaining, as a television show should be. I did write to TLC to make Jill & Jessa a full season, and I wish politics would stay out of independent television programming. Thank you.

Thank you for shining your light, even in the darkness that the enemy has tried tripping you up with. I truly believe that God will use this 'test' in Josh's life. I can see him going into schools, helping others become set free from the same trap that they enemy had for him, that God would be glorified!

I love see the babies and how cute they are. I felt a part of both daughters weddings, house hunting and all they go through. Please keep them on TV. On one episode Of 19 Kids and counting Jim Bob & Michelle was in the bedroom & Jim Bob told the film crew that it was time for them to leave with a funny smile and laugh. And their were other times. I just think he should be a little more discreet. Or maybe Michelle could have a talk with him before they go on the air. I just like it when there's more innocence, like what it use to be. I would like to see the Diuggars back. Every family has challenges that they have to deal with and some of them are extraordinarily difficult. It's in how you handle it that matters. I'm not super religious and I certainly don't have much family support (I wish I did ... one of the reasons I love your show), but I learn from you all. I think you have lessons for us all if we just take the time to think beyond ourselves and our own egos. Thank you for that.

ReplyDeleteI did watch the 2 episodes of Counting On when they aired. I did enjoy them but wouldn't mind keeping up with the rest of the family too. I would like to see where life takes Jana and John-David in the future. I don't hold anything against the family for Joshua's actions and deceit. This may have been a blessing in disguise for the family to realize to keep an open mind and treat people as Christ truly would...with grace, kindness and love, even if he doesn't care for their life style. Also, all the religion in the world "ain't" going to change the spots on a leopard.

As much as I used to admire them (JB and M), I feel that now they need to take a back seat and let their children grow and develop in their own Christian way, not their parents.

So so may families have upheaval and yelling daily in their homes...The Duggar house is so full of love and respect.Why I bet your bottom dollar that these kids from broken violent homes would trade places with them any day.DO NOT BLAME the whole entire family for what one did...that is NOT fair and y'all know it!!!Move forward not backwards.This family will always be loved by many and have a big support system, no one can ever take that away.I followed the link and stated my wishes...hope it helps.I love you Duggar family and Godbless you:-)

I have been a Duggar fan for a long time. I don't think TLC should have cancelled 19 Kids and Counting. I pray and hope that TLC will consider bringing the family back on a permanent basis. Surely NOT Kate Gosselin and she is still on! She is an example of how NOT to raise kids! The Duggar parents have done all they can to raise their kids right. It's up to the kids to do the right things now. Most of them will, some of them wont. It's none of our business to know about any more of the past than what they want us to know. To me, the show is interesting only if it features the entire family, warts and all. The whole novelty of the show was watching how a large family functions. I'm not interested in watching a show about young married couples.
ReplyDeleteI contacted TLC to let them know you should not continue with a show. The message you send to victims of child sexual assault like myself is very negative and I believe you use the show for money and fame

Please do not put this on TV anymore! There are so many amazing people that do wonderful things you could put on air. TLC has lost its way with trying to keep Duggars on. They had their 15 minutes so move on.

I followed the link and left a message for TLC using the link you provided; I pray they reconsider and put you all back on the air. ReplyDeleteI respectfully responded to Discovery Communications, asking them to not film new or play reruns of any Duggar shows. I'm Christian, so this is difficult, but I don't support your presentation and brand of Christianity, so if there are more shows, I will contact them again, as well as advertisers. I wish your family well, sincerely I do, but it's time for private, humble worship, not millions of dollars in compensation for "preaching". It might matter, A LITTLE, if you weren't compensated financially. But it's gone way past that humble point, so please, let this chapter close, teach your precious children to earn livings doing honorable work for "normal" compensation, attend your local church and live your lives. Yes, you are too far on the conservative side for me, but that, in combination with having so many kids, is what MADE the show in the first place. I think Josh's actions have been awful., but I don't think that should detract from your family as a whole. I hope to see much more Duggar Family on tv! I miss watching your kids grow up.

I continue to keep everyone in my prayers and plead the blood of Jesus over your homes and family. We are all brother's and sister's in Christ and need to stand strong for our family and not give up on one another. Please bring them all back.you don't have any other show even close to being as good as the Duggars. Please take Kate Gosselin off' there is nothing interesting about her anymore. without Jon she is just no good.Loved their show when they were all together but it just isn't any good now.

ReplyDeleteLove and miss the Duggar family!! Please bring them back, I had not watched any TLC programming since they've been off until Jessa & Jill. Most viewers felt like family friends with the Duggar's What was done by one is NOT condoned or accepted, He is dealing with the consequences of his actions. This is not a reason to punish the entire family and the viewers! Bring them back!! Bring pack your viewing audience!!

Would also like to see more than a quick glimpse of the rest of the family. Many viewers feel a connection to the Duggar's and want to stay up to date on their lives.
