I pray for this family. What a nightmare to live through, for all of them, especially Anna and their beautiful children. I have watched the Duggar family from the very beginning and have truly enjoyed the show and how the family interacts with each other and the total commitment and love they share for each other. You will make it through this storm and with the help of God, iot will be better.
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great Wednesday pre Thanksgiving.
DeleteI am so glad that Anna is getting to share her story.
ReplyDeleteJim bob should not tell men to go take charge of their families nor take all sensual material fro the home, it just makes kids more curious as Josh is testament to
DeleteThe sinning was done by Josh a grown MAN. NOT by his dad. Just as God gives is free will to choose Jesus, we also have free will not to choose God and choose sin. This is fully on Josh. Not his parents or siblings, or Anna. Praying for Anna. If it was my husband he would have already been served divorce papers. Trust and integrity are everything in a marriage. But this may not be Anna's choice. We must respect that.
DeleteAgreedJim Bob says take all sensual material from the home but does he not understand doing that makes kids more curious? Anyway what he and Michelle used to do in front of the kids was very sensual if not sexual at times. totally inappropriate I front of children.
DeleteAnna is the victim in this situation. She has been in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteCould not get the video to work....but that's ok. I love your family and have missed them very much. I pray you get good response with your planned shows and that people will be encouraged. I have experienced some of the heart-ache you are going through, a little differently, but none-the-less difficult. Perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you that has not revealed itself to you yet. If so, it will come in time. God will direct you. Watch for His had at work. God bless you. I copied down the date and time for your show and look forward to it. Your friend and sister in the Lord. Grandma Clell from Yelm, WA
ReplyDeleteExcited for the upcoming specials! The honesty about the problem and the sharing of it shows how people try to cope with the impact on their lives and become what God really wants them to be. I appreciate them for not hiding this but sharing the dynamics of their journey through life. It helps make everyone who they share this with to not be deterred from their God given, God intended potentials in life. Thank-you All who work toward this high goal with them.
ReplyDeletegood! I would love to hear from Anna. I think of her often. I hope we will be able to see these online eventually.
ReplyDeleteI really hope something positive comes from this mess. Maybe someone out there can relate and be able to find courage and change the situation. My prayers go out to Anna. My heart breaks for her! On the same note This clip seems so staged. So unnatural. So poorly acted. I hope Anna's tragedy is not being exploited for ratings and money. That would not be very Christian.
ReplyDeleteSo impressed with Anna. I just love her to pieces. People can say what they want, but as someone who has been thru infidelity with a spouse, SHE HAS IN NO WAY taken the easy road or shown signs of weakness. It takes an incredibly strong person to push on through something like this, and in the face of all the negative remarks people are making. Team Anna all the way, she is beautiful, strong and an encouragement to all of us women, wives and mothers. Lots of love your way!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to watch this. I am praying for your family.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that was the appropriate picture to use for this blog post.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new baby boy!
ReplyDeleteDonna McDougall
I do not have cable TV as I'm sure many other people do not either. There is barely anything worth watching on TV anymore but I sure hope I can see the mini series on this blog! Thank you Ellie and Lily for all you do for this blog, its very much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteI will be watching. I have missed the show so very much. It is a terrible thing that happened but would like to see how they all handled and dealt with the situation. A lot of children face these issues everyday and I believe their stories can really help! I am glad to hear that Anna will be on as well. I know this has been very difficult on her as well and maybe her story can help other women who fin themselves in the same or similar situations. My prayers are with all of the Duggars!
ReplyDeleteI so can not wait 'til December 13 now!!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be watching. I don't agree with everything they stand for but I think there show is one of the realist reality shows on TV. I admire Michelle so much for what she does for her family and how she believes in her husband to do the best for his family as well. They are honest about how they live and are not apologizing for it. I do agree with a lot of their decisions for their family ànd most of all how they put God first!
ReplyDeleteYAY !!!! I'm so excited !!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE watching the duggars:)The thing I love about the most it is seeing everyone grow up , and also how they dill with situations .
Will definitely be watching :)
I wish you all the best blessings from God!!
ReplyDeleteStay strong Anna Ive been praying for you and the entire family
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you all back! Love you all feel like I know each one! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteinteresting picture choice ?!?!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell how uncomfortable Anna is talking about it. Her husband is supposedly not even out of rehab yet. WHY is she talking to anyone at this point?! Did she have no choice??
ReplyDeleteOoooookay. So poor Anna IS featured and her pathetic situation IS discussed. TLC will make money off Anna's misfortune. This makes me sick, Won't be watching
ReplyDeleteGod bless the family
ReplyDeleteI miss the family very much and pray for them everyday will be watching on Dec 13 and when they are on tv. Hope they can bring the Duggars back on tv.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the specials and spending time with your precious family. Keep your chins up and your heads held high!
ReplyDeleteLove this and the family
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see that photos of Anna and Josh. She was so happy. I'm heartbroken that she has to go through what she's going through. Josh really is a terrible person for doing this to her. This week I heard about another lawsuit against him and the details are repulsive. I can't even bear to look at him anymore and that photo is just too difficult to take in. I'm looking forward to the specials but I hope they don't focus all their attention on how the family is dealing with the fallout over Josh. I hope they focus on happier times with the new additions to the families.
ReplyDeleteI hope Anna has a big say in the upbringing of her kids so the same mistakes are not repeated
DeleteBeautiful girls Anna is gorgeous and brave and so sweet. My heart breaks for her.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait to see them on TV again. They are a perfect example of what it means to have faith that God will bring you through anything.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I'm not ready to look at pics of Josh yet. That man has destroyed not only his own life but has permanently affected his beautiful wife and children. Poor, poor Anna. It's not fair to trot her out for tv ratings. I won't be watching.
ReplyDeleteI miss the Duggars. Every family has a soap opera and theirs were brought out. The girls are very strong women and forgiveness is a blessing from god.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear this!
ReplyDeletei am so glad anna will be on the new show! i've enjoyed watching her mature over the years from a timid young lady to a strong woman who is an amazing mother! i'm sure she has no idea how many people are pulling for her but she is definitely in a lot of thoughts and prayers. everyone can say what they think she should do, but ultimately, it is her decision and her life and i wish her nothing but love & happiness!
ReplyDeletea thousand hugs for Anna. You are a very strong woman!! please know that for every hater there is many more people who love and care about you!! keep your head up and Keep Strong.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutly, be brave Anna, love & hugs from Poland <3
DeleteMarta
my heart breaks for anna
ReplyDeletePoor Anna! She is going to regret spilling her guts on television. Badly done.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait! I have missed this family so much. I pray the eventually bring back 19 Kids and Counting! God is able.
ReplyDelete"Counting On"....I don't get it. What are they counting on?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Anna is being given the opportunity to speak about what happened with Josh! She is a strong woman who has chosen to forgive. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't stand looking at Josh. He needs to just go away out of the public eye for a long long time. If Anna stays with him, she needs to disappear too. If she stays then they are in this thing together and they both need to fade into the sunset for the sake of their children and their marriage. That's just how I feel.
ReplyDeleteI agree with u.!!
DeleteI thought that Josh was not going to be on any more TLC shows. I thought that's why they cancelled 19 KAC. They are inviting all kinds of negative reaction if they put him back on.
ReplyDeleteThey are not. Anna will be featured. But tlc has confirmed that Josh will not appear. That picture was taken right after Meredith was born in the summer.
DeleteHope the experience was healing and an opportunity to bond.
ReplyDeleteLily & Ellie, why are you featuring Josh in this photo with Anna & Meredith? Josh is not a credible person. Josh has hurt many people most of all Anna. I can't believe you would choose to show his photo. I am very surprised.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with Anna just because of what josh did that is just horrible. I love the digger show and how much they are close to God i am surprised josh dos such a thing which is such a sin Anna and kids your thoughts and prayers are with me
DeleteCongrats Jessa and Ben.cant wait to see u and catch up on hoe u all r doing,God Bless :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the Duggars, And can't wait to see the new show.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to get in contact with Anna Duggar.I am a 36 year old mother of 4 who got married at the age of 16 to non Christian.I have had to put up with everything in this marriage. My husband also had an addiction to porn, was abusive in the past,he drinks, and in 2010 he cheated on me with a girl at his own brothers house. Also when he was in Korea in the Army he let some girl lay on him but he says nothing happened.I wish I could get out of this marriage.I don't think I love him the same anymore even if I forgive him,and things that I accepted in the past when I was younger I no longer want to be around like the drinking.I have had no one to turn to.The only thing that keeps me going is the love for my children and my love for Christ. Please pray for me and my family. Vicki
ReplyDeleteI'm sooooo excited!!! I can't wait 😊❤
ReplyDeleteI can not even look at that picture of Josh with his new baby and think what he was doing just a few months prior while his wife was pregnant..... makes me sick!
ReplyDeleteGreat news !! I Love the duggar family! I can't wait to see all of you back on tv. May God bless you and give you strength and the victory in Jesus Crist !I'll keep praying for all of you. ...so bad people stop critizing saying evil comment's. God is good to us and he is with all of you! Good to see anna may God bless her , Josh and her four children.
ReplyDeleteYAY !!!!! I am looking forward to Dec 13th !!
ReplyDeleteSo if Anna is doing the specials then she us getting paid. I hope she keeps the money for herself and kiddos and josh won't get any of it. But since josh is still head of the household he will get the money ( or Jim bob?)So TLC is still supporting josh even though they were so quick to cancel 19kids and counting. How lame. TLC is stooping very low these days......
ReplyDeleteWill this series be on TLC's website after airing? I don't have TV and would love to see it!
ReplyDeleteAnna is brave to be a part of this! Do you know if she and Josh are staying together?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the show!! Still praying for the whole family 🙏🏼🙏🏼
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the show!! Continued prayers for the whole Duggar family 🙏🏼🙏🏼
ReplyDelete~ <3 ~ 'Anna' > You Are A Very Brave > Bold > Courageous Woman To Be So Willing To Share Your Mess With The Public The Hard & Difficult Things That Have Happened & My Prayer Is For Continued Strength & Keeping Your Eyes On Your "HEAVENLY FATHER" & Trusting & Leaning On "HIM" For Strength To See You Through > All The While > Holding & Comforting You In "HIS" ARMS > Loving On You With "HIS" Amazing > UNCONDITIONAL > LOVE !!!!!!!!! ~ <3 <3 <3 ~
ReplyDeleteDon't see a video, only a white screen....
ReplyDeleteI watched the clip and if I remember correctly Jessa's "part" shown was what we already saw on an earlier broadcast referencing the "first Josh thing". Not much new that this "teaser" has shown.
ReplyDeleteI think a better choice of clip should have been put out there. Thanks.
I admire Anna so much. Will be looking forward to her part on this segment .
ReplyDeleteAnna, you are on my prayer list. I know this is a difficult time for you, but I believe God is going to use your pain right now for a much higher purpose than you can even imagine. May you feel God's love, peace and strength daily. May you grow in wisdom and discernment.
I believe Josh can come out of this a stronger person, with God's help. But he must learn to live by and understand the New Testiment and freedom through Christ alone and His shed blood. Nothing can be added to the Scriptures. The Old Testement will serve to reinforce the New Testiment if Josh starts anew and focuses on God made standards and not those of man. I am praying for you,
ReplyDeleteJosh. You can do this! Don't believe what man says, believe in Christ alone. I hope Josh will be given the opportunity to read this... Blessings to the entire Duggar family at this time of Thanksgiving.
Josh has a sexual addiction & needs professional help in order to become whole again. I hope he gets the professional help he needs.
DeleteI agree! I hope the same to him
DeletePraying for the Duggars during this difficult time, and specifically for Anna! I can't even imagine what she is going through. I hope she knows how much support she has from people who don't even know her.
ReplyDeleteGood for Anna!
ReplyDeleteGood for Josh and Anna.
ReplyDeleteNot going to watch. In fact, I am no longer going to subscribe to TLC nor am I going to buy a copy of People.
ReplyDeleteWhy?
DeleteAnna's expression in this clip is heart breaking! I can't even imagine her pain. Thankful she knows the One Who heals and loves her soul.
ReplyDeleteOur burdens are too great without Jesus!!
May He bless sweet Anna!
I know it makes me sad
DeleteI know!! She is such a beautiful person and doesn't not deserve this!! It's so sad when are sweet and kind and giving people often take advantage.
DeleteOur thoughts and prayers are with Anna and her entire family. You will get through this and come out a better person and mother.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anonymous 5. Anna, there are so many people who you don't know who are amazed by your poise and grace during this tremendously difficult time and who are praying for you as they would there won family member. Please don't ever feel that you are alone. Know that you have so much respect from others and that you are an amazing mom. Every day, as a mom of three, as I pray for my family, I pray for you and your family. God loves you and please know that, as you faithfully serve the Lord, He will bring you joy. Peace and Love.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteNo, they are addressing the affairs here, not the molestation.
Anna, if you're reading this, please look up the blog by Ashlee Birk, "the moments we stand.". You'll find you aren't alone in this. To sum up, when she was 28, she found out her husband was murdered... By his lovers' husband. She had no idea this was going on, and she was left a widow of 5 little children, the youngest being around 5 weeks old. This was a highly publicized murder case, and after several years, she shares her story on her blog, and of his Christ and her faith helped her through. I guess you should know, that there are so many women praying for you that have been hurt by infidelity. We love you, Anna!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing Anna ' s feelings on her heartbreaking situation with her husband. Prayers to Anna and her children at this difficult time. Always remember Proverbs 3:5 to get you through each day. Stay strong Anna!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for your family but I think the time has come to live a quiet, serene life away from the glare of media and public scrutiny.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I give my 2 cents. I admire your family and am a fan. But I strongly believe in birth control. I married my high school sweetie, and after our 4th child my hubby had a vasectomy. We would have ended up on welfare if not for birth control. I'd rather give 4 children a good life than to give 14 children a poor life
ReplyDeleteI dislike that picture of Anna and Josh together. It seems so fake. He cheated on her, but they are all smiling for the camera.
ReplyDeleteThat picture was taken before his cheating was exposed.
DeleteThe picture was taken before she knew he had cheated; right after Meredith was born.
DeleteHope anna makes the right decisions and stays strong,I wonder how the children cope with out there dad? God bless
ReplyDeleteYou are all very brave to be having to go through this in such a public forum. Praying especially for you, Anna, and for your children, and also for Josh. Thank you for allowing us to continue to share in your lives. The Duggar family has been a blessing from the beginning, when 14 Kids and Pregnant Again premiered. Thank you, all of you, for being such a blessing!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more on the other kids as well! Very thankful for the three episodes we are getting. And very thankful for this blog! I love and pray for this family. I know I probably won't meet them this side of heaven, but have been inspired, and motivated by their faith and how they handle difficult situations. Would love to see TLC do more with this family
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm glad Anna will be in this simply so she can have a bit of money to support her family. I'm curious how they're surviving with Josh not working and her not working either.
ReplyDeleteI think the Duggars are trying to get as much publicity out of Josh as possible. When you want attention, even negative attention can be good. Sorry, Duggars, but I can no longer respect you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI am all about forgiving someone as we are forgiven. But, I still believe that when you are legally married, you should be able to charge a cheating spouse with criminal endangerment since you are being exposed to potential deadly diseases without your knowledge. How do you forget what has happened and be able to trust. It will be such a hard road for her no matter what she decides. I am praying that a miracle could happen to redeem this entire situation. God bless Anna and her dear children. I am also praying that this special will bring understanding and not more criticism.
ReplyDeleteSeems like TLC is just trying to get as much money as they can from this by making this affair get more attention and be more public. I don't think I'lll watch.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad TLC is not going to include Josh in the mini series. Just looking at him makes me sick to my stomach. I feel for Anna.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI so agree. The family back on tv is a huge mistake. Poor Anna....
The fans should stop asking them all to go back on tv and encourage them to lead normal quiet lives and find other ways to preach their religion, in order to protect the children.
The pic of the two of them looks like it was taken soon after Meredith's birth, not since the latest news about Josh broke out. My heart goes out to Anna. My husband was unfaithful to me as well. We were in church and both had positions and he was approaching teen girls for sex. I felt humiliated and I had just found out I was expecting out third child. I had forgiven him in the past but this time was different I knew the trust would never be there again and as I prayed I felt a huge peace come over me that I had made the right decision. That was confirmed soon after when he decided to just go wild. However although we are divorced he has since asked for my forgiveness and I have forgiven him. He has struggled but is back in church with his new wife and baby. I do not envy her in fact I pray for their marriage. God has given me so much strength through all of this. I am at peace with the decision I made however you have the right to make your own decision. Don't let people make it for you. I hope you and Josh can work things out but Biblically you have the right to decide. The Bible says not to put away your spouse (saving for the cause of fornication). I'm glad that it seems Josh is trying. I hope he is sincere in his desire to change. Don't feel embarrassed for one second you did nothing wrong. Unfortunately more often that not there is infidelity in marriage. We have to come out from among the world and be ye separate and I am praying Josh can and truly desired to do that. Also you are absolutely beautiful inside and out. Don't think for a minute that something is wrong with you. When men have these problems it doesn't matter if they have the most beautiful wife, they still cheat. I am praying that either way this plays out that you will be able to forgive Josh not for him but for yourself. God bless you and your sweet babies.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous @Anonymous #30 -- you are amazing and an inspiration. God bless you and your family.
ReplyDeletePutting Anna on TV to discuss her husband's problem is such an unwise decision. Why talk about the most personal, painful situation in your life with the whole world? Doesn't this family care at all about anything being private???
ReplyDeleteThe only way the Duggars will get the message that the fans want them to retreat from the limelight for the sake of their children will be if none of us watch their TV shows or buy magazines when they're on the cover. Do it for their own good.
ReplyDeleteIt is Anna's decision if she stays with Josh or not. Only she can know what she is able to live with.
ReplyDeleteOh please!stop attacking this beautiful family ,who have a normal life like everyone else with difficult situations that with the help of Lord eventually will be resolved in either way.every situation or problems in a marriage is different we cannot compare with others. The most important thing is having the lord in our heart and trust him and pray him to bring peace in our heart so we can learn to forgive, it takes time but eventually we'll do for ourself first and then for others.everybody needs salvation in Jesus Crist and Josh needs to reconciled with the lord so his marriage can be restored. I pray God for the duggar family that this situation makes them more stronger in his path and continue preaching the gospel of christ. I pray for Anna and her four children to heal their heart and bring together this beautiful family.God loves each of you!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe for one minute that Anne is appearing in the specials of her own free will. She is being used by the family. I will not be watching.
ReplyDeleteBizarre and unkind that they would trot poor Anna out to promote their show. I can't believe Anna would choose to be on TV after all she's gone through.
ReplyDeleteAnna should be in seclusion from the media (yes, and even fans) so she can heal. Fans should stop yelling for this family to be on TV. You need to encourage what is in the family's best interests.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Josh in this picture makes us not want to read what is under it - it is about Anna being in the girls' show - so, why do we have to see Josh? Reading the amount he spent in one night when he was straying from Anna just turns my stomach. One would think that Josh was not thinking about sorry he was or how he was worried about losing Anna while he was out doing what he was doing, while she was home with the other three children, and pregnant. Anna, hold your head high - it's your decision.
ReplyDeleteWe think of you so often Anna, and pray for you. You are so beautiful in this video, the Lord shines through your eyes despite your pain. May He continue to give you the peace that passes all understanding and help you get through today, for today has enough concerns of its own without giving thought to tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAnna I am so sorry for what yu are going threw you should have never been put into that situation sweet girl but why is no one saying how sorry for jill and Jesse and his other victims what about them there heart broken too! All of you I'm am truly sorry for what happened please never give up
ReplyDeleteI don't think that was the most appropriate picture to use.
ReplyDeleteI thought the specials were going to be about Jill and Jessa and their lives. I was considering watching to see the mission work Jill was doing and see Jessa's baby. I don't think I will if poor Anna is going to be on. I feel so bad for her and I wish she could heal in privacy. If Anna really wanted to tell her story, it should be in a separate interview. I wanted to just see the happiness of Jill's mission work and the new baby. I don't want to be reminded of Josh.
ReplyDeleteI support Anna speaking out. But only if she wants to!! It has to be her decision! I would like to support her and watch her and cry with her and all that but only if she wants us to see her cry! If she wants to open up then open up I support it in the fullest. But I just hope this is something she is not being bullied into.
ReplyDeleteI'm Praying for each of you. I'm happy to see TLC dealing with a real family and real family issues.
ReplyDeleteThis is a legitimate opportunity for learning and growth!
I am glad to see that Duggars are going to be on your network again. They are the only decent show that you aired and have not watched since they left.
ReplyDeleteBring back the whole family, less Josh, and see if their fans don't return. The people speaking hate about them never watched the show.
I love watching your family. I think the message you are trying to send is great. However I feel like you folks need a break from the lime light. Your personal issues belong to you and no one else. The more you folks are on internet and tv the more out of hand this is becoming. Maybe lay low for a while and then make a come back. Everyone needs a break every once and a while. I get that your family needs to earn an income but there are other ways. Think back to pre tlc days and how you managed. Peace and love always
ReplyDelete
