A Duggar-Sized Baby Shower

 Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and Ben Seewald

Baby Seewald is due on Sunday, November 1st. That's just a few days away! Jessa and Ben celebrated the upcoming arrival of their firstborn child with a baby shower, held at a family-friend's barn and attended by approximately 100 guests. (For those wondering how Jill and Derick were able to make it, the shower was held before they returned to Central America.)

    I'm glad Josh came with Anna, Mackynzie, Mike, Mark, and Meredith. I'm glad he'll appear in the new Duggar reality show. He's a part of the family and TLC. I love him no matter what. He's a sincere person. He isn't a hypocrite. We all make mistakes. Trust God. Jesus first. Others second. Yourself third. I can"t wait for Meredith's birth to be shown on television.

      I think you are confused. Josh was not there; he's still in rehab. And there is pretty much zero chance he will have any part in the new specials.

    I love it! - the eyes closed diaper changing and the guys chugging milk out of baby bottles! It is joyous to see how this God loving family, and their friends, have so much fun enjoying the simple pleasures in life. May God bless Jessa, Ben,baby, and all of their family and friends. Peace!

    What's going on with Jana, Jinger and Joy-Anna these days? Are they training up for a profession of some sort? Is Jana continuing her training as a doula / midwife? Are they pursuing further education? Would be interesting to hear about the other boys or any news beyond Jill and Jessa. Nevertheless, thank you for keeping up the blog and doing all the work that goes into it.

    Modesty sure flew out the window when these girls became pregnant. Michelle and Anna never wore streached out tops, they dressed in maternity outfits that were cute, and modest. Jill and Jessa both wear tight fitting clothes even when they are not very far along, just suprised JimBob and Michelle approve.

    I understand everyone's eagerness to know if Jill's pregnant or not, but I'd caution people about openly commenting on it (even though I'm sure they mean well.) For one thing, if she wanted people to know she would have announced it. Secondly, if someone ISN'T pregnant, it would hurt their feelings to be told they look like they are. Just a thought.
