Jessa Seewald at 34 weeks, 2 days
Our plan is to have a home birth. We have lots of relatives and friends who have had wonderful experiences with giving birth at home, and we are excited and hopeful that our experience will be the same. But we also realize that sometimes (as in Jill’s case) a transfer to the hospital may be necessary, and our birth plan definitely includes a plan B.

I think you mean Michael, not Marcus :)
ReplyDelete~Lucyana
No, it was Mackynzie and Michael
DeleteMarcus was born in a birthing center
DeleteGood luck and congrats
ReplyDeleteHope you have a quick n easy birth. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the baby. I predict she's gonna have a girl.
ReplyDeleteBest of Luck
ReplyDeleteMackynzie and Michael are Josh and Anna's first two children who were born in the home. Marcus was born at a Birth Center via bath tub.
ReplyDeleteJosh and Anna had their first three kids in the house Jessa lives in now!
ReplyDeleteTheir first two were born in the house. Marcus was the birthing center
Delete#3 was born at a birth center. FYI
DeleteNo they didn't... Only first 2.
DeleteGood luck Jessa, look forward to seeing you and Jill on your specials
Deletegod bless

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that's a girl
ReplyDeleteITS A GIRL
ReplyDeleteAgreed
ReplyDeleteDefinitly a girl , she's carrying so high!
ReplyDeleteI know!, but she still has time for the baby to engage or to drop low,
DeleteHow can y'all tell the gender just by her stomach?
DeleteIf you carry high it's a girl, low it's a boy and I've always known it to be true. It was when I was carrying my son.
DeleteThat's funny because I've always known it to be true that it's the opposite! High for boy, low for girl. Anyhoo...I think it's a boy since her face isn't very swollen which I think happens more with a boy than girl. Only time will tell
DeleteBoy or girl doesn't matter, only healthy matters.midwife as a sister you will be fine.when they grow into fine young people to be proud of gender doesn't matter.
DeleteI think pink in their future!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a boy, she hasn't gained weight
ReplyDeleteAnywhere but in front, usually gain weight everywhere with girls.
Awesome can't wait to see the new baby few short weeks
ReplyDeleteIt's a GIRL❤
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your baby delivery.
ReplyDeleteJessa and Ben have you decided on the name of your baby? loll
ReplyDeleteI say it is going to be a girl....
ReplyDeletesmart girl. and good luck with the home birth.
ReplyDeleteJessa and Ben, once again Congratulations! I pray a safe a quick birth for you and baby... (girl, I think). And I pray peace and patience for Ben. There are so many emotions that can arise during a birth but the most important is working together, and I pray God would Bless these last week's together before the baby comes. I'm sure you've heard this plenty but please get your sleep now, unfortunately many restless nights ahead. But Cherish every moment, they grow so quickly! God Bless your Family!
ReplyDeleteI think its a boy.
ReplyDeleteLucky guess for those who say they know gender bc I've seen many pregnancies and there is no possible way to tell other than sonogram. Girls and boys mix signs. 50% chance your lucky guess is right though. Mom of 4 girls, grandma of 4 Grandsons and 2 granddaughters, Aunt, great aunt, etc.
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait to meet your little-one.I hope it's a girl. but I know you will be happy with what ever you have. Love to you & Ben.
ReplyDeleteJessa sure does take a lot of selfies!
ReplyDeleteYes she does
DeleteCan't wait to see baby seawalds . I think its a girl, I'm also sure they have a snap chat can I please have their sc name love to be able to keep up with the girls. I don't have cable so I watch them on TV. Thank you
ReplyDeletecan jessa tell us why a home birth and not a hospital birth? viewers are wondering why?
ReplyDeleteGood luck and my god bless you all.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jessa and Ben. So, happy for you both.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till you come back to TLC
ReplyDeletePraying for a healthy baby and a safe delivery!
ReplyDeleteHope it works out for you! Poor Jill couldn't have her home birth. I think you'll have an easier labor & delivery
ReplyDeleteI think it's a girl
ReplyDeleteIf it is a girl name her Allison Jewel Seewald boy Jonah Davis Seewald
ReplyDeleteWho lives in the gorgeous house that Jill and Derek were in? What happened to it? Was it sold?
ReplyDeleteI say a girl too. She is definitely carrying high. Either way, it will be a blessing for them.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Jessa looks so ready to have this baby. We cannot wait to find out whether its a boy or girl. Either way, I'm sure this baby will captivate their hearts and home. Congratulations from Southern California. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck Jessa and congrats! Can't wait to see the new series that you and Jill will be starring in this year! Also can't wait to see pics of your beautiful baby when he or she arrives. I really hate that we have not been able to see you progress through this pregnancy on TV as we did so many of the other Duggar babies. :(
ReplyDeleteI think she is going to have a girl as well..
ReplyDeleteI wish we could continue to share your joy best of luck an much prayer doing your Blessed event. May God blessings an love shower you an your family with extreme joy an Peace. Please try to do a video of any of the event if at all possible an pictures please. Be Blessed unity is the key peace ✌ love and harmony always. God love.
ReplyDeletegood luck.. I am sure you both will do what is best for your little family. god bless you all.
ReplyDeleteHope and pray that your delivery goes well. If TLC doesn't want the Duggars then it is their lost not yours. God has something better for you. This was the best show ever. May our heavenly father bless you all.
ReplyDeleteI think she is having a boy. Praying for a smooth delivery and a healthy mom and baby.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!!! just remember one thing, the baby never follows the plan! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteIts definitely a girl
ReplyDeleteJessa is carrying high because of her body shape and the fact that this is her first pregnancy. How can the gender of the baby influence where it sits in Jessa's belly?
ReplyDeleteWill Jill deliver your baby?
ReplyDeleteCan someone please tell me what the meaning of the word Rafflecopter means? I didn't get an answer when I asked before. To me it sounds like the combination of raffle and helicopter..? Thank you for responding to this question!
ReplyDeleteI think it is the name of the automatic, impartial selection of entries for a raffle.
DeleteI think it is the name of the automatic, impartial selection of entries for a raffle.
DeleteWhy do the Duggars like home births so much? I can't wait to see the baby! I predict it will be a girl. :)
ReplyDeleteBecause homebirths are the cheapest way to have a baby. Hospital births are a lot more expensive. Since they are mostly self-employed they probably have to pay for most if not all healthcare costs themselves instead of being covered by insurance.
DeleteExcited !!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is a girl because then Jim Bob & Michelle will have 3 granddaughter & 3 grandsons.
ReplyDeleteJessa you will have many prayers for the safe delivery of your baby. So many people love your family. Janet Frisch
ReplyDeleteMiss you gals ! Best of luck on your delivery .can't wait to see what you have .God bless you all !!!!!!! Each and every one;).
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until Jessa and Ben have their baby...whatever the gender is, the baby will be beautiful. He/ she will be joining a very loving family...may God bless the Seewald, Dillard and entire Duggar families. Shalom
ReplyDeleteI'm proud of you. Anxious for the 5 weeks to pass.
ReplyDeleteI thought the sono looked girlish!
ReplyDeleteTheir third child was born at the mid-wives center, not their home. Remember she was afraid she was going to deliver in the car???
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and may God give you a easy and safe delivery.
ReplyDeleteLaramie Jaymes for a girl or Lawson Luke for a boy
ReplyDeleteI think Jessa and Ben are going to have a baby boy.
ReplyDeleteA lot of us think that you carry a girl higher than a boy. If you can tell that someone is pregnant from the back, it is a girl. Boys present themselves lower in the pelvis. From behind, you can't tell the mom-to-be is pregnant, and she has a waist line from the back. It is harder to tell on a short gal, because she doesn't have a high and a low. Of course, this isn't perfect! ;-)
ReplyDeleteUnless the mom to be has gaine a lot of weight from over eating and what not. Then no matter what they look pregnant from the back as well
DeleteI think it's all a guess on how they carrie. I have 7 kids 4 boys and 3 girls and I looked the same for each one. It's all old wise tails but fun none the less. Jessa and Ben super happy for you both. Your going to do great. God is so good.
DeleteI think she's having a boy.
ReplyDeleteMay GOD bless you with a speedy delivery that isn't too painful. And that baby hs a safe happy journey into this world.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Jessa! May God bless you with a safe & easy delivery, recovery & baby :) Can't wait for your little one to arrive!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a safe and speedy delivery. Miss the show and wish that TLC would bring your family back to TV land. We all make mistakes, no one is perfect, even the exec's of TLC.
ReplyDeleteAs for telling the gender by the way Jessa carries, mostly just old wives' tales that keep us excited women buzzing throughout the pregnancy. There is really no scientific basis to any of these, but they make for some interesting conversation. Almost everyone predicted my first child was going to be a boy based on how I was carrying, but I eventually gave birth to a bouncing baby...girl!! I am also betting on a girl for Jessa, but based more on a gut feeling than anything. I can also imagine her surrounded by ornery little boys!!
ReplyDeleteI had 3sons and a daughter. Son 1 I carried very low. Son 2 was very high. Son 3 right in the middle. 8 years later my girl I carried in the middle. Home births help Mama relax in her own home.
DeleteWhat do the Duggars have against going to the hospital to have their babies? I think it would be much safer than a home birth.
ReplyDeleteI don't think there against it they like to be in their home and more relaxed and much much cheaper. I think like with Jill to be safe they will go if needed.
DeleteMarcus was born in D. C.
ReplyDeleteHe was born in AR. Remember Anna was needing the bouncer in the R.V for him, and it was loaded in the truck.
DeleteI think Jessa is having a girl!
ReplyDeleteIt is just as safe for a normal, healthy pregnancy to deliver at home. It is actually statistically safer for a healthy mom to deliver at home. I don't see what everyone's fascination is with giving birth in the same place people die and go when they're carrying infectious, communicable diseases. :/ Guess to each their own.
ReplyDeleteIts more comfortable and they usually have a transport plan. I wish I'd have minr as t home in ssh tead of being forced to lie on my bsck snd suffer you csn do what you need to do at h ok me more natur as l
ReplyDeleteThey don't have anything against hospitals but prefer home births. Hospitals are back ups. Michelle had her last few in hospital
ReplyDeletePeople are so funny with their old wives tales. I'm on baby number 4 and I've carried differently with each one. With my current pregnancy I'm carrying really high and it looks like I have a basketball under my shirt. It's a boy. My two girls sat much lower. So, unfortunately, that particular old wives tale doesn't hold much water.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of prenatal care is Jessa receiving? Is she regularly seeing a doctor? A nurse midwife?
ReplyDeleteGOOD LUCK ON YOUR DELIVERY OF BABY SEEWALD
ReplyDeleteYet another selfie...
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they were still on 19KAC if they would have revealed the gender. And will Jill and Jana and their midwifery team be there for the birth? For me, the thought of my sister delivering my baby seems weird. But the Duggars I understand because Jill's now a professional midwife. I can't wait until Jessa's baby enters the world. I predict its a girl.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your family. wish you well and wish we could see the family back on TLC again. hope you have an easy birth, God be with you.
ReplyDeleteNo she had Marcus in a birthing center.
ReplyDeleteWe really miss you on TLC. it is to bad that the people who judged all of you have a perfect life . so sorry for their actions. And TLC shame on you for your actions.what would you do if your son or daughter did this before throw them to the wolfes or get them help. this does not mean that the whole family should be punished.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to both of you. I'll jump into the guessing and say it's a boy. Hoping you will be back on TV soon. I've watched your show since 14 children and counting. Every family has their difficult times. I don't understand TLC cancelling the show. Hopefully, they will change their minds. God bless you all.
ReplyDeleteYou are very much in our prayers for a safe and beautiful birth
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ben and Jessa Seewald on your new baby to come soon
ReplyDeleteBen and Jessa , Congratulations, I see everyone is saying its a girl. I think you will be having a boy. 7lb 3oz. Goog luck!
ReplyDeleteAlot of women want to deliver in the hospital because the option of getting epidural is there if the pain is unbearable. Also, if something goes wrong you have a team of medical professionals who can interview within a matter of seconds which can sometimes make a difference between life and death
