For the next two weeks, we will be posting Jessa Seewald's responses to the questions you submitted.
Yesterday, we shared Jessa's thoughts on pregnancy (click here to read), and today we're discussing pregnancy cravings. Baby Seewald is due in just six weeks!
Have you had any crazy cravings?
Jessa: I can’t say that I’ve had any super weird cravings—meaning that I haven’t developed a desire for any foods out of the ordinary, or felt the need to combine pickles with ice cream. I guess I pretty much just excuse anything I’m in the mood for as a “craving.” Like if I really want ice cream, or chocolate, or Italian food, then I must be “craving it”, right? Lol! For the most part, Ben and I strive to eat a healthy diet with lots of protein and fresh produce, and we also try to keep up a regular workout routine…and most of the time we try to keep our desserts limited to one per week (although it can be especially difficult when it seems like there’s always another family birthday party just around the corner!).

Michelle, Jim Bob, and their children are going to speak at the IAA Family Camp in Texas in a few weeks. The Family Camp 2015 theme is "On the Front Lines, Standing for your Faith." Are Jill and Derick going to be there?

ReplyDeleteJessa
ReplyDeleteyou can't workout and you can't limit any food and sweets you shod eat un less your doctor gives you diet.
good lack with your baby.
This is a very nice thing Jessa is doing...answering questions and keeping us in the loop.It would be wonderful if Jill was here to deliver the baby, even if she was I'm sure the haters would have something negative to say about them coming home too much...I hope all that chatter doesnt detere them from coming home whenever they feel the need. I hope Jill gets to deliver most her nieces and nephews, how very special that would be.Sending blessings your way O:-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I miss your family. Please send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Best wishes for a healthy, continued pregnancy and short labor!!! Stay beautiful!!!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 13: That is not true at all. Pregnant women are supposed to exercise frequently for their own health, as well as that of the baby. My mother worked out almost every day when she was pregnant with me. Also, they are not supposed to eat a large amount sweets to avoid gestational diabetes. They also should not consume large amounts of caffeine and are supposed to avoid cold cuts due to certain preservatives in them.
ReplyDeleteOn point ;-)
DeleteI am praying for you and Ben. I also have many siblings and I remember when my mom craved pickles and ice cream.
ReplyDeletePlease, please,PLEASE TLC but the Dugger Family back on TV! I miss seeing you all! God said, Forgive seven times seventy." So why can't you TLC? God bless the Dugger family as they go through their lives. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that can't read the update on Ben's career???
