This picture is just too cute not to post. Jill and Derick Dillard have been visiting family and taking care of a few urgent matters--including Jill's final midwifery exam, which she passed--since early September but will return to Central America soon. The rest of the Duggar clan has enjoyed spending quality time with the Dillards. In this photo, John-David Duggar, 25, bonds with nephew Israel Dillard, who turns six months old next week.

It's good to see some one other than Jill and Jessa. Good pic of John David!
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
DeleteAdorable! I can see a little bit of grandma Cathy & his daddy as well as Jill in his features. I'm so glad John David got to spend time with that precious little man.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe he is almost six months old already. Time flies. Nice photo! What is John-David up to these days by the way, anyone knows?
ReplyDeleteCute! Nice to see John
ReplyDeleteAw! So cute! In my opinion, babies 👶 are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI really would like an update on the other kids.
ReplyDeleteAre you "blanket training" him as your mom did with you kids.
DeleteIs it just me or is Isreal becoming a beautiful combination of Dillard and Duggar? He's developing the Dillard forehead, ears, and jawline with the Duggar eyes, nose, cheeks, and mouth.
ReplyDeleteThis is sooo cute...God Bless the Duggar Family

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture. I agree that Israel looks like his Grandma Cathy. He is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if one of the urgent matters was a prenatal visit for Jill?
ReplyDeleteOMG! Israel looks so much like Justin in this picture! He definitely is the perfect mixture of Dillard and Duggar! Blessings to you! Also nice to see John David!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!

Wow, Israel is getting so big and he's so cute! It's really great to see John David too! I'm glad that Jill and Derick are able to come home often enough for both sides of the family to be able to spend quality time with Israel. I sure do miss seeing all the different family members on T.V. and it's nice to find out what's going on with them from time to time. They almost felt like family to me and I miss them!
ReplyDeleteThey sure spend a lot of things time here in the US for being missionaries, I honestly wonder if it is even possible for them to live full time in another country being so close to their families they have obligations every month! That would sure be a huge struggle! Glad she followed through with becoming a certified midwife congrats Jill!
ReplyDeleteI love John-David's smile on this picture. He looks really happy. :)
ReplyDeleteHow are Jospeh and Josiah doing??? How is College life going for Joseph? Is he on Campus or staying with the Bates? Are there any courtships on the Horizon for any of the boys? What about Jinger and Janna and Joy? What are they involved with these days? How are the younger girls (and older ones too) dealing with Jessa and Jill moving away?
ReplyDeleteInquiring minds want to know!
: )
Does John still lives with his his parents, and does he share the bedomm with his younger siblings?
ReplyDeleteHe's such a big baby. You can tell he has a great mommy that puts his nutrition first. I hope she can help educate mothers in central America about the importance of nursing as long as you can.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to hear about the other kids. What are they doing?

ReplyDeleteAdorable! John looks relaxed and happy, good to see.
ReplyDeleteWhen do Jill and Dereck and Israel head back to the mission field. It's been so nice for them to be home so Jill could pass her exam. She will be such a blessing to all those expectant mommies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous generally women in poor parts of the world do nurse longer, not because of any preference, simply because that is the food that is available for their baby. Plus in latino countries being maternal in thought of very highly.
ReplyDeleteJohn David seems very humble, a great quality in a person.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic John David. Miss your family.................
ReplyDeleteA little confused as to how they are funding all their trips to and from central America. When I served in the Peace Corps I didn't come home until I had been there a year and a half. I was thrilled to see that Jill and Dereck were embarking on a similar adventure, but am feeling a little let down as to how much they are travelling. It makes it hard to really integrate and understand the culture and the people you are serving if you aren't travelling to and from America so much.
ReplyDeleteI am still and will always be a fan, but am a little skeptical as to how their fundraising money is being spent.
Aww, so cute! what a nice picture!
