On Sunday evening, cousin Amy Duggar tied the knot with Dillon King at Horton Farms in Gravette, Arkansas, about 45 minutes from the the home of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
The majority of the Duggar family joined in on the joyous occasion, including Jessa and Ben Seewald, Jill and Derick Dillard, and Anna Duggar and her four kiddos. Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn, Mackynzie, and Josie Duggar served as flower girls at the event, which was attended by approximately 400 guests.
For those curious about the sign hanging above the couple, it says "And He has made everything beautiful in His time," a phrase found in Ecclesiastes 3:11.

Congrats to you both! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Amy and Dillon! May God bless your marriage. And may I say that I'm sorry if any of your joy was stolen or dampened by the negativity aimed at the Duggar family. It saddens me beyond belief. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Amy! And so sad we don't get to see the wedding :'-(!
ReplyDeleteIt is so crazy the way people act like the Duggars hate anyone who believe differently! The dress Amy wore is not what the Duggars would probably have chosen. It does not make a difference in their love for Amy!
ReplyDeletecongrats we love you guys
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Amy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Blessings on your Wedding!
ReplyDeleteAwe. Y'all posted like half a dozen pics from the recent Bates wedding, and this is all you share from Amy's?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Amy is as beautiful a bride as I would expect her to be. Her veil is gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures, especially of her dress, her handsome husband, and precious Josie as flower girl. Thanks Ellie and Lily for filling in some of the huge gap left after TLC cancelled the show.

ReplyDeleteWow Amy chose a beautiful, classy & timeless ball gown. Amy looked beautiful. Of Amy, Jil & Jessa's wedding dresses Amy wins hands down! Was pleased Amy had a normal wedding reception. Dancing at weddings is a wonderful time. BTW: David danced befit The Lord it's in the Bible, Old Testament. Cannot believe the Duggars chose to leave Amy's wedding reception early.

How was Amy's last name Duggar if her mom is Jim bobs sister?
ReplyDeleteWhen her mom had her she wasn't married to the dad, so her mom just gave her the Duggar last name.
DeleteAmy admitted she was born out of wedlock so she was given her mother's maiden name.
DeleteBecause her parents weren't married until a few years ago.
DeleteI read that she got pregnant with Amy before she got married. I think they alluded tp that in one of the episodes too.
DeleteHer parents weren't married when she was born and only tied the knot when she was 17-18ish, she explained in "her" episode when she went to pursue her music career
DeleteHer parents weren't married yet when she was born. :-)
DeleteHer parents did not marry therefore amy has the Duggar last name just like her mom.
DeleteAs far as I know it's because Amy's mum wasn't married to her dad at the time she was born. But anyone else feel free to correct mme.
DeleteHer mOm and Dad didnt get married for a long time after Amy was born.
DeleteSuch a beautiful picture! Congratulations to the happy couple! Praying for many blessings to rain down on you both!! God bless!!

I saw one of her dress and was socked to see how low cut it was!!! :-(
Super excited for her and still can not believe she is married!!! :-)
I'm not :) Amy never did dress like her cousins.
DeleteDid any of the Duggar girls serve as Bridesmaids? The dresses didn't look very conservative and I wonder how comfortable they were with their shoulders on display like that. Just curious! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo, just the little girls were flower girls!
DeleteYou shouldn't be so judgemental. The Bible tells us not to be.
DeleteCongrats to Amy and Dillon God Bless them in their marriage today and always.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Amy and Dillon.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear some joyous news! God bless you all. Thank you for accentuating the positive, eliminating the negative, latching on to the affirmative and ignoring the in between. :-) We're still waiting to see all of you back on television. :-)

ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDelete...ELEGANT!
ReplyDeleteShe had to have 2 receptions because some of her guests aren't into dancing? Oy vey!
ReplyDeleteMedia (paparazzi) should leave Anna alone at a family wedding. Horrible that they are waiting to get pictures they can sell to tabloids when all the poor woman wants to do is attend a wedding and take her kids to be part of their family and a joyous occasion - actually disgusting to see how the tabloids circle around someone with no regards for their children. What right do these photographers have to intrude on someone's privacy. Anna deserves tremendous credit for putting on a brave face to attend, many of us wouldn't have the strength to do what she did and subject herself to the prying cameras waiting for her. Hats off to you Anna, you did it with grace and a mother who does anything for her kids, I admire you.
ReplyDeleteThey covered that topic when Amy went to Nashville on the Season finale last Summer!
ReplyDeleteThey were not married at the time of Amy's birth.
ReplyDeleteAmy's mother wasn't married to her dad when Amy was born so she gave her the Duggar name instead of her paternal name.
ReplyDeleteBring them back to tv. Let Josh get his help. Let the rest.of us love this family. If its true what he did. God is dealing with him.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to Amy and Dillon. The little flower girls are adorable.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless
Joan and Marion
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteBecause her Mom's last name is Duggar and her parents were not married at the time of her birth. Plenty of kids get their Mom's last name, and plenty of married women keep their surname so really not that uncommon these days.
CO NGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE MAY YOU BE BLESSED WITH MANY WOUNDERFUL YEARS...MISS YOU GUYS
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Amy and Dillon. I wish them the best of health and happiness and hope they will have their own reality show. G-d bless them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bride and finally someone who had a normal wedding dress
ReplyDeleteThis guy is normal, funny. They actually kissed before the wedding like normal people. You know there is nothing in the bible against that. I am pretty sure they are more ready to marry than the others
ReplyDeleteMay God bless your marriage! I miss watching all of tins sooo much.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and BEST wishes, both. May you have a wonderful life together. Thanks for sharing. Lois, in Kansas
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, Amy was born out of wedlock and her parents didn't marry until she was older.
ReplyDeleteSure miss your program.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Amy and Dillon. May they have a life of peace, happiness and joy.The flower girls are so cute.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn
Because Amy's mother had her out of wedlock.
ReplyDeleteHer mother's last name was still Duggar when Amy was born.
Thank you for sharing, I love wedding's
ReplyDeleteI'm curious why Jessa would post 100 photos of her wedding just 2-3 days after Amy's wedding?? Let Amy have her moment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! The wedding sounded so fun! Did the Duggars have to "NIKE!" 😄
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed with a lot of Amy's comments about the Duggars to the media. Differences in convictions should be respected.
ReplyDeleteLove the Duggars and praying for them. I'm sure I speak for many. We hope you are on the air again.
congrats cousin Amy
ReplyDeleteI join you in praying Anonymous!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀
