TLC acted too swiftly to cancel the Duggars in the first place. I am happy the Jill & Jessa will be back, but hope to see the other kids a well - minus Josh, of course. You shouldn't punish an entire family, and the viewers, because of the actions of one member. I would have preferred for the Duggars to have been picked up by a different network because TLC really treated them badly!

Not happy about them crawling back on TV. What happened to "we're not a TV family"...cancelled or not, we're fine with it? Isn't that what Jessa and Jim Bob have actually said? Yes, it is. I guess they were NOT ok with it after all, were they?
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed in TLC; they cancelled the show, which was about all of this family, then did an about face...I'd like to know how this came to be from the TV execs?

ReplyDeleteNo I can tell TLC how disappointing they are for dropping the Duggars so fast, making a statement that they don't want anything to do with a family like this......
And then they don't stay true to thier word.
Shame on TLC for taking the family back. They need to stay out of the limelight and regroup and refocus on thier own family values, not just Josh.

ReplyDeleteI'm still not okay with how they dropped the Duggar family.
I've also found it incredibly easy to stop watching all discovery network programming since the Duggars were cut for the politically correct complaints.
The Duggars that want to be on television may be better off having a show on UP, as many others have said.
I just knew they would be back in some sort of way, there is more of us than them. HIP HIP HOORAY! O:-) ;-) :O :-D

ReplyDeletePutting the Duggars back on TV is a bad idea. Viewers will pick them apart, hopefully its only going to be one or two specials. What if the Duggars have more secrets revealed. This is not a good thing.

ReplyDeleteIt won't be the same as before, from what I understand. It looks like it will be a "specials" format. We will have to see if we like it as well as their previous show. But it will be good to see Jill and Jessa; and, hopefully, we will get to see other members of th Duggar family.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching your show but with everything that has come to light i think you guys should take a break. Reunite your family, heal your hearts, help Anna make the best decision for herself and the kids anr help Josh get the help he needs. I think there's things more important than getting some tv specials. For once just please stay out of the spotlight. Turn it down, no one is interested anymore.
