In just six days, cousin Amy Duggar will wed Dillon King. Amy is following in the footsteps of her Duggar cousins with a short engagement. In fact, her engagement will be the shortest one yet! Dillon popped the question just over two months ago.
Best Wishes to Amy and Dillon!! I hope that their wedding will be a happy occasion for all the Duggar family and will not be marred by media intrusion. This family deserves a break!!
So proud of y'all! Blessings on your marriage Amy your a blessed woman and have a awesome husband to be! Love y'all! Thanks Lily and Ellie y'all do marvelous work
It will be a lovely wedding, I'm sure. The Duggar family needs to embrace the celebrations of life, as they always have, as blessings from God. Hope all have great fun connecting with friends and family and that we will get to see lots of pictures.
Am very happy for you Amy ! Hope you may have a lasting marriage. And may you have a home full of children and lots of love, laughter and warmth. May your husband give to you the love and devotion as You will give to him.
Saw the engagement photo. Have some questions? Who is the little girl standing in front of Amy? Who is the elderly woman on the left, way in the back ? Was wondering.....where is Anna's baby and other son ? Why isn't Amy's mother standing with her husband ?! Why is Jackson twisted up as he stands there?!
Congratulations Amy & Dillon. I hope that you have a wonderful wedding Day. Enjoy yourselves with family and friends. I'll be looking forward to the photos. God Bless you both.
My you be blessed to always serve God together as you love one another. I miss your beautiful family and are so thankful for your faithfulness and fellowship - as we feel we know you. May God grant you abundance in all things. Yours in Christ, Mrs Minke
God bless the happy couple :) My daughter and her now husband were engaged Sept. 23, 2010 and was married 9 weeks later on Nov. 27, 2010--also 2 months :) They are happily married and are expecting their 3rd baby in December <3
Congratulations Cousin Amy! I hope you have an AMAZING wedding. Too bad TLC won't be broadcasting it. But I'll still enjoy the various photos that'll be posted on the blog God-willing.
Congrats on the wedding may God bless your union! :D Hold on to the cross, keep it between you and with the strength of God you will never be torn apart!
I'm so happy for Amy...I just hope there is not a big black cloud hanging over them on their day. I wonder if any of her cousins will be in the wedding...too bad we dont get to see this...as im sure this would have been a special before all this drama came to light.Blessings on your big day Amy :-)
I understand that Amy and Dillon are going to have a more regular wedding reception with food, music and dancing...Are the Duggars going to attend since they don't believe in those things for themselves? It would be rude of them to "dis" their niece for her more mainstream and not sinful beliefs in this matter. I would hope that they would attend, be respectful of other beliefs and simply remain seated during the music and dancing. Does anyone know? Also, what kind of work does Dillon do? Is Amy going to seek real full time employment after marriage? I would think that a part time nanny doesn't bring in enough money to live. Thanks for the info..
Dear Anonymous 19 The little girl standing in front of Amy is Johannah Duggar, the eldest of the 4 younger girls, with Jennifer to one side in the stripey dress & Jordan - Grace on the other side with the youngest daughter Josie. The elderly woman in the back is likely ( educated guess ) Amy's grandmother on her fathers side. Anna is holding her youngest son Marcus, whilst her two older children Mackynzie & Michael are likely off having a nap, given all children up to six years old have naps in the duggar house hold. Amys mother is standing next to her brother Jim Bob & her father behind her and her Fiancee which is a quite normal thing in a family snap shot. Jackson who has shot up in size since we have all last seen photos of him is likely posing twisted up, as most people do when they urgently need to be in that " other room in the house " rather quickly but are required for another family task such as a photo snap before hand. - at least that is my take on it. Hopefully that makes sense.
Congratulations to Amy and her Dillon. We wish them all the best, and hope there will be a reality show centered around her and her parents and grandmother. It would be wonderful to hear her sing on the show also.
I need to clarify or reference scripture from the Bible. Ref Jish & Anna's wedding. Prior to the wedding, Mr. Keller stated that when Christ turned water into wine it was really grape juice. I disagree the BIBLE clearly states Christ turned water into Wine. BTW: Grape juice requires refrigeration. Electricity was not invented or an option during Biblical times. I am curious how Protestants decided to substitute the grape juice for the Wine when Christ turned the water into Wine. Will someone please provide an explanation. Thank you.
We are continuing to pray for all the Duggar Family. Praying for complete healing for Josh so he can return to Anna and all their precious children. We really miss seeing all of you and hope to see you all again soon. LOVE ALWAYS to your family.

I wouldn't mind composing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome website!
