'That is One Massive Mother's Ring!'

Yesterday, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar celebrated 31 years of wedded bliss. Jim Bob presented his wife with a beautiful ring that he designed just for her. See her reaction in the video below:

      If they were to do that, they should have one for Caleb as well. (The miscarriage they had after Josh, but before Jana and John David.)

    As expected, Michelle was so sweet about receiving this gift from Jim Bob. She's not really a jewelry lady, but I am sure she will find a way to wear this ring just enough to make Jim Bob feel that he was made her feel so grateful for his love. God bless them.

    I'm quite surprised that Jim Bob would give a gift like that to Michelle....too big and flashy (although you can't really tell how big it is until you see it in person). I am wondering if he is trying to prove something.....like we don't need the money from our show.....we have plenty. I can tell by this clip that they have changed over the years. Can you imagine, during '14 children and pregnant again' him doing this?......or even 5 or 6 years ago?.....he would not have done it, unless it was in private. I would like to add my congratulations to Josh, Anna and family on the newest addition.....she is beautiful. It's good to see Josh again.

      Jim Bob is a very resourceful & intelligent man. He, with God's help, did a very good job of supporting the family without TLC. I'm almost positive they've not been in debt. Ever!

    Thanks for posting this video! What a sweet and creative gift! I miss seeing them on television so much and hope that somehow they'll make it back. Their Christ-centered lives have brought me such joy and made me realize that I could have the same kind of family.

    I know Jim-Bob was probably trying to come up with something original and special for Michelle for their anniversary but I don't think she likes it - she just says 'that's one massive mother's ring' which is hardly the same as saying 'I love it' or 'it's beautiful'. I think Michelle is too modest to wear something as showy as that and would probably have preferred something more dainty and classic. She's far too sweet and wise to hurt Jim-Bob's feelings though.

    I agree. My husband surprised me with a mother's ring on our 7th anniversary and it had our three living children and the one we lost at 17weeks. I cherish it so much.
