ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Birthday Jim Bob Duggar you are a man that has and continues to raise 19 Kids who love the Lord and all desire deeper and more intimate relationships with the Lord - plus you have managed to raise your family living debt free and most families of far far fewer children can't do that!
ReplyDeleteYou have also modeled to your children what it looks like to truly love the spouse God gives you and that as the marriage grows older the intimacy should only grow deeper and to not be ashamed of expressing affection to your spouse in front of your children whether in words or by an affectionate hug or kiss!!
I applaud you for being a Godly man who seeks to know the Lord more and more everyday and modeling that also to your children which is why you have 19 incredible, well-behaved children who as they have grown up and those who are still growing up want to serve the Lord with all their hearts, minds and strengths!
I know I am not alone (as I am 100% sure that there are many many others that feel the same way as I do) that I wished and dreamed that you had been my father since I never had one - To have experienced what a father's love is!
Thank you for what you have given us all in sharing your family with us over the years on "19 Kids & Counting" and I am sure we all have been blessed, we have learned from your family, we have prayed for your family when in crisis, rejoiced with you in every birth we were able to have experienced with you, grieved with you in your Dad's death and Jubilee's miscarriage, and were touched and moved watching three of your 19 kids walk through courting, engaging and their weddings - and now as they begin to have children themselves making you a grandpa!
Thanks for your transparency and what you have given us - your devoted viewers and brothers and sisters in the Lord - over the the last 6-7 years you opened your hearts and home to us!
Just because you won't be on TLC anymore weekly which we all have had to go through a grieving process, thank goodness we can stay in touch by websites and blogs although it won't be the same but thankful for at least that we can keep up on what all is happening with your beautiful family as it continues to grow and expand!!
God Bless you from the top of your head to the souls of you feet this day that God birthed you into this world - I know life would have been the same without you because you have touched literally thousands upon thousands of people!!

ReplyDeleteIt only a number. I will be 60on the 9th of August. It fun because my daughter is turning 38 on the 3rd of August My Granddaughter is turning 4 on the 4th of August. We wanted her to hit one of our Birthdays but it was out of our hands . Mom had to have a c -section. Enjoy your Birthday Jim Bob . Miss your show so much!
