Nearly two weeks after leaving the United States to begin their new lives as missionaries, Jill and Derick Dillard are ready to announce where they are serving. Those of you who guessed Central America are correct!
The Dillards have already begun their mission work and have enjoyed sharing the Gospel with the people of Central America. They were thrilled to watch an elderly woman give her life to the Lord just a few days ago. Three-month-old Israel Dillard is adjusting well and has captivated the locals with his beautiful blue eyes.
Be sure to keep praying for the Dillards. If you wish to become a financial partner of their ministry, click here.

I would suggest to the Dillards that tell contributors what the money is being used for (projects or plans) and also that they should review their donation page. It is asking for Social Security Numbers.

ReplyDeleteSo happy for them and who wouldn't fuss over a darling baby :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that with us Lily and Ellie. I was thinking maybe Nepal, since they meet there, plus with the earthquake there so recently.☺
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful that a soul was saved already. I hope that the Lord will allow them to see many more people saved in the future.
Lily
So happy for you that you are able to go and help spread God's word . Be safe and look forward to see your blogs of your exciting adventure .
ReplyDeleteI support the Dillards prayerfully in their ministry. I would like to support them financially but their method seems complicated. Isn't there an address to which we could simply send a check or money order?
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie,
ReplyDeleteWould you be able to tell us, or find out and tell us, why the donation site for Jill & Derrick is asking for Social Security numbers? That seems a bit intrusive. Also, are you given a receipt for what you donated, if you did, for income tax purposes?
Thank you.
He is adorable!!!!!
