For those of you who have been waiting for an update on Josiah Duggar's courtship with Marjorie Jackson, we have one to share. Their relationship is progressing well, and they are enjoying every chance they have to spend with each other. And who knows? There might be another Duggar wedding in the not-so-distant future.

Our parents do the best possible teaching children right from wrong but,in certain situations of being sheltered from worldly influences. Things,happen. Parents try to do the right thing and sometimes it can backfire. People,need to support the Duggar Family even if there is no more 19 kids and Counting. What can be done, is broadcast from home and fan's can watch from the Computer. No reason they cannot film from home on there own. All the Best to all the Duggar's.

I really really really hope that if there is another wedding we will be able to see some of it in some way, shape or form. To repeat myself, I think that this talented family could produce their own show, the boys have learned a lot from the tlc crew about editing and so forth. Even if they do family videos and release them on youtube or sell them on line once a year. I would pay for them in a heartbeat.I just can't fathom the thought of never seeing them again, as we have vested so much of our time and love, so so many of us fans truly feel like part of their family and them part of ours. Heck, if I had the funds I would own a network and have the family show run 24/7...wishful thinking;-) Duggars I hope you hear me and take heed.Godbless you ALL. I hope this comment makes post.

It's not up to anyone to air someone else's dirty laundry. Yes, what Josh did was wrong. He confessed, asked forgiveness, and went through counseling. He's not a pedofile, he was a young boy at the time. LET IT GO!! I was a victim of the same thing when I was about 12 or 13. I've dealt with it and would like to forget it... I'm a grandmother now. Let it go!!

It's been just so much fun to watch these "kids" grow up.... only say kids, because when we first were introduced, they were just that... now growing into such mature adults... ReplyDeleteI say to each his own. I wouldn't want my kids getting married so young, but neither would I want them waiting until age 35. What works for some doesn't work for others. The question is can Josiah support a stay at home wife and family without TLC income?

ReplyDeleteI agree,,i think it would be wrong for tlc to show a cliffhanger in the last episode of last season of what to come in the next season then not show it. I don't think tlc should punish the whole family what josh it before they did the first special "14 kids and pregnant again" because I want to see Josiah courtship, and the birth of Anna's and Jessa's babies. I Think TLC should bring it back (with or without Josh) except for the episode when gives birth Grandbaby #5

On a side note, how is grandma Duggar doing through all of this negative press about her grandson and family? We never hear about her and I hope you update us on her as well. ReplyDeleteI love this couple but I hope they have a long courtship and wait a few years to get married. What is Josiah doing for work to be able to support a family? Is Marjorie going to go to college or work after high school? She seems so smart and motivated and ambitious, I think she would really thrive in college. (I mean on a college campus, not courses taken at home. I can see her as a campus leader.) They could both accomplish a lot if they wait awhile before settling down and having a family.

ReplyDeleteIt seems like a lot of pressure on a young couple (who are likely both in their first romantic relationship) to market them for family publicity. Imagine how guilty and hurt they would feel if it didn't work out?

ReplyDeleteNo! They should not wait to get married!!! Don't forget Jim Bob and Michelle were around the same ages when they got married. Why face temptation when they don't have to. If they do God's will He will provide for them. On a different note... I, also, have not watched a minute of TLC since they took the show off. Hopefully, they will decide to put it back on again..... soon, please, TLC!!! We have become so blind as a culture if we let all kinds of ungodly sexual content remain on the air on the various channels, and the sponsors say nothing, and then remove this show that almost always promotes a Godly example, even thought they are not perfect. No one in the world is, or ever has been, except the One who lived and died to buy our place in Heaven! The world obviously has it's values and priorities upside down.

I hate to think that most of the people can't see that the people they are putting under the microscope are just like you they could be you uncle or you brother or you sister and they were not drug threw the mud like your family.

I want to watch Josiah's courtship and Jessa and Ben's pregnancy and Josh and Anna's pregnancy and Jill and Derrick with Iseral growing up and just in general all of the Duggars. ReplyDeleteActually, I wish UP TV would give the concept of filming various courting and married couples from both the Bates amd Duggar Families. Each week could be filmed around a different couple at the various stages of their relationships and also include their weddings, births, children, or any news worthy event in their lives...couldn't come up with a title though. I think Up TV would do a great job and handle it with the respect they all deserve...
