We uploaded an updated blog header, designed by Rachel, one
of the 13 talented children of Loren and Gloria Wissmann. The Wissmanns have a traveling bluegrass/Gospel band and are close friends of
the Duggars.
Rachel also updated the cover photo for our Facebook page.
The new picture of Josie is so pretty and she looks so much like Michelle!

ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely. As their family expands with marriages and grandbabies, I think it would look nice to have a sort of family tree as the header. With the lines connecting all the Duggars and then the branches for each married couple and then their children.

ReplyDeleteI really like it. One thing, do you have a better picture of Derick and Jill? The one you have now cuts both of them off, and it isn't very flattering to Jill. BTW, I really like the new pic of Josie!

ReplyDeleteI wonder too, who else is currently in a courtship besides Josiah. I too feel like there is at least one more Duggar family member in a courtship relationship currently but I know it's all about when the TV show will allow them to announce this. I don't have cable so I keep updated through this wonderful blog! Thank you Ellie and Lily for all your work with this blog!

How about a picture with each married family in one shot and then a group shot of the rest of the rest on their own? It's too confusing. Put the married and their kids last and the rest first in order? Or just a complete group shot of all and then add on the side moving down new babies until they are added to a group picture that can be taken?

ReplyDeleteHi, I think the new families should get one picture all together instead of having individual pictures for each new kids. It takes too much space and very soon, the header will look very confusing.

ReplyDeleteI remember one of the shows where they had a picture of Michelle when she was about Josie's age. They looked exactly alike! Maybe that could be shown on the blog sometime along side a picture of Josie.

ReplyDeleteI think that header's going to get too big too soon. You should just put family pictures instead of each grandkid on their own once it starts getting any bigger. Or the family tree idea sounds cool too. Thanks for keeping updated!

ReplyDeleteI have watched your show since it began. I am not a Christian, but I believe that this show is something America needs. With all the craziness in the world it is nice to see some moral people. You are going to be judged, and hurtful things are going to be said for Josh's behavior. Josh was very young, and you can't change the past. The thing you must remember is Keep your head high, be who you are, and pray to

I pray for the ones who like to stir up trouble , May God forgive them for causing grieve over something that was years ago I for one Love the show and all of the family showing good morel values
