ReplyDeleteLol you make it sound like they're torturing them or something. They probably put them back because they're not ready to get rid of them, or would rather have them there than in storage.

4 beds for 7 people? Where does everyone sleep? Weren't there 5 of those vintage sleigh beds before?

ReplyDeleteAs far as the beds in the Girls room go - orginally there were 2 Doubles and 3 singles for Jana, Jill, Jessa & Joy Anna respectively, The next two girls Johanna & Jennifer originally slept in the double beds with Jana & Jill. The last twp girls Jordyn - Grace and Josie were in porta cots in the same room. As the youngest two got bigger and needed a bed this altered by removing Joy Anna' single bed and replacing it with a top bunk in the same space with two toddler beds facing out from it for the youngest two girls. Now that Jill and Jessa have moved out there are 2 doubles and 2 singles: leaving one child with out a bed space. I dont see any reason why they can't find and return Joy Anna's old single bed to the room giving giving Jana, Jinger, Joy, Johannah & Jennifer their own beds with the two youngest Jordyn and Josie with the 2 older girls in the Double beds. Athough i guess Joy Anna & Jennifer might have taken Jill's double bed on as her buddy team. i would think it was a long enough day without having to take Jill's and Jessa's names off of the bed ends, though the girls may have wanted to keep them their a little while longer for a special reminder of the two sisters who no longer hang out with them in the girls room each night.

Instead of Jana living in that room, why doesn't Michelle and Jim Bob allow her and Jinger to move into the guest house? They are adults and would be nice if they could have their own space. Just listen to Jessa who says she misses the girl talk, but loves the married life. Meaning she loves her independence. I bet Jana would love it too.

ReplyDeleteNice for the older girls/women. Not digging the striped painted colomn. Why weren't their 'friends' shown helping to paint the room? I think because maybe they hired painters or TLC handled this redocarating. Because why with so many boys would you need help painting one room? Maybe lots of rooms but one?

ReplyDeleteI don't understand why everyone can't have their own bed. What's wrong with twin beds or bunk beds for all the kids?
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Do we really need to go into microscopic detail about who sleeps where & with whom? I personally find it all quite ridiculous. It's a great show about a pretty nice, albeit large family but sleeping arrangements seems a little...how should I put this? Boring.

ReplyDeleteAdding to what I said before ( Anonymous 20 ) I also thought that Jana was determined to have a more adult room. This came through when she insisted that the painted tree and horse etc got painted over as she had to give her Dad a push in the right direction to make it happen and was really glad that it was gone. No more of those childish things I think she was thinking. Which is fair enough being that she is an adult and needs and Adult room. Ok Jenny wanted to keep her horse but it was primarily the older girls room before the 4 younger ones came along and they did take a photo which jenny can hang up in the room. I guess when Jana, Jinger & Joy have moved out then the 4 younger girls can make the room as they wish. I have also thought that perhaps Jana has moved her bed to have some sort of space for her self ? ie the double be that is on its own. Maybe this is the reason why there are only 4 beds in the room. Maybe Jinger and Joy have the single beds and the 4 young girls have the other bed 2 at the top end and 2 at the bottom with occasionally one of them sleeping in Jana's bed. Still I wish there was another alcove space for two of the younger girls to sleep but I am sure they have figured out what works and what wont with the sleeping arrangements by now.

ReplyDeleteThis was so needed!! Those horrible paintings on the walls in many parts of the house are just awful! I believe that the 'decorator' from NYC that TLC brought in when the house was being built had the ideal to do those tacky panting all over the walls. The new room looks great!! So clean and fresh. I hope they paint over the rest of the walls.
