ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to this special. There is something I have often wondered about Ben and more-so Derick. As they went through the public school route and then college, I can't help but wonder about proms, dances etc and whether they have previous girlfriends and whether or not they didn;t have THEIR first kiss at the alter. Michelle has always been candid when talking about kissing other boys and Jim Bob prior to their wedding.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have these questions asked but I won't hold my breath. I feel an admission such as this, similar to Zach and Whitney Bates, could connect them to a wider audience.
Either way, I still love watch the show and the Duggar's despite a few differences in beliefs.
Good grief! More talking! Can't they have something worth watching? Like say, um, JESSA'S BABY ANNOUCEMENT OR MEETING MARJORIE?! Oh for Pete sake.

ReplyDeleteJim-Bob and Michelle both announced that Jim-Bob met Tim Tebow's mother, but the whole Jana + Tim thing was all confirmed a rumor.
In a way I hope this is the finale of 19 Kids as it seems with so many repeats it has lost some interest from viewers. The Duggars are a great family but eventually all things must conclude. I would enjoy watching a spinoff of the Dillards & the Seewalds.

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't the family correct the hostess when she asked Jana how it was being the oldest? She and John David are the same age. Unless he has moved out, which I thought is against the rules for unmarried adult kids.

ReplyDeleteThey said tonight only 15 kids still live at home. So does that mean John David moved out? I didn't see him on this episode in person. Jill, Jessa, and Josh are the only ones I'm aware of.

ReplyDeleteJoseph is the 4th child not living at home; he is attending college out of town. Josh, Jill and Jessa live with their spouses/families. Presumably, the rest of the kids still live at home, although the hostess of last night's show flubbed when she asked Jana how it was being the oldest in the house. Jana and John David are twins. They are both the oldest kids in the house. The hostess also asked Jedidiah and Jeremiah about being twins but again didn't reference Jana and John. I guess she didn't know her Duggar trivia.

ReplyDeleteI recall People Magazine (I think it was)releasing Jill and Derick's wedding photos with a blurb about it being "the bride's first kiss", which I would assume implies that Derick had, in fact, kissed at least one other girl before. Not that I think there's anything wrong with it, mind you. I think it's good that he may have gotten to experience other relationships before settling down.

I just want the world to know that despite the scandal going on, I still support the Duggars, they are good people and I don't know many others who would even report inappropriate actions of their children. They probably wouldn't even find it inappropriate in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI have fallen inlove with this family and their show has made me smile and cry on numerous occassions. I hope this family lives a long and happy life. Bless them one and all for their compassion and dedication to this world.

We will continue to pray for you guys. We believe you can't have to many prayer warriors!!!! We would love for the Duggars to come to Daytona. You are a great family who try to lead by God's grace.
