After 70 hours of labor, Jill gave birth to Israel Dillard via emergency C-section. Following the delivery, she was in recovery for about an hour and a half, which gave Derick a chance to bond with his son. Hear from Jill and Derick in the video below.

ReplyDeleteThen title of this blog says Duggar Family. But it should say Jill's Blog. From Jinger on down (except for Josiah, because he's courting) I can count on one hand how many times the other kids have been mentioned in the past couple months or more. ( even like to hear about grandma Duggar!) because they're rarely mentioned anymore I'm going to list them.....

You all show what beautiful Christian servants you all are.There should be more Christian perspectives like you all out there. Jill and Derrick, I know you will enjoy your beautiful Isereal for many years to come. Can this old grandma come and babysit once in awhile??? Derricks, I hope your mom can stay well now after all she's been through. I'm sure both your families will enjoy the new little Isereal....

ReplyDeleteAlso, I have a question. I just watched a video on Youtube of Jordyn playing the violin and I'm curious as to why she's not holding the neck of the violin with her left hand. Is that a new technique? My daughter has played violin for years and I've never seen it held like that.

ReplyDeleteSome clips come up blank for me also. I discovered that I can right click on the title above the clip and select 'open in new tab'. In the new tab, the video comes up for me to play. This does not work if you are in the comments page. You have to go back to the home page. Thought this might help others with the same problem.

ReplyDeleteHow awful that she had to go to recovery and spend so much time away from little Israel! Is this something that differs hospital to hospital or depends on how strained the mother is? I had a C-section last year and never had to be apart from my daughter. Went right to our room together and breastfed.

I keep seeing people questioning where the info about Ben and Jessa is. I have a feeling that Ben and Jessa are choosing to be more private with their lives. If you think about it they have been more tight lipped the entire time. If they choose to not allow info to be posted about them then that has to be respected I think.
