Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar joined Tina Jennings on the KGUN 9 Tucson Morning Blend this week to talk about babies, courtships, and the next generation of Duggars (YouTube video below).
"I've heard people say how wonderful it is to have those grandchildren," says Michelle Duggar. "It is like ten times better than what they said."

Love watching your family you all have so much love to give.
ReplyDeleteThat was such a sweet interview...loved it...Thanks for that :-)
ReplyDeleteI pray that Jessa will not be encouraged to endure such prolonged painful labor like Jill was. Please, please, have G-dly compassion for Jessa and encourage her to have an Epidural painkiller, and not to go overdue just to have a home birth. The Goal is safe baby and safe momma. Period. And please tell Jill to take painkillers, she is still telling People magazine that she is not taking painkillers despite being in pain. Please, being in stress of pain is not good for healing or the baby or breast milk. Even without painkillers we see Jill carrying the baby and carrying him in a sling- Jill, do not carry the baby while standing until you have completely healed! It is very important to heal your poor uterus.
ReplyDeletePainkillers sedate the baby were they won't breastfeed good and lose weight that's why so many people fail at breastfeeding. Birth is natural you don't need meds. Her not wanting drugs in her system shows she is a good mommy!
DeleteI had a c-section and felt that I didn't need the pain meds prescribed to me. I took Tylenol while in the hospital but I felt like the pain was something j could handle. Each person can handle pain differently and since Jill had such a lengthy labor, I'm sure she has a high tolerance for pain!
DeleteThe Duggers are smart, and they will take care of their bodies. I know so many people who have home birth, and epidurals are not always the best thing. I'm all for them if the woman needs it to relax so her body can labor, but if she can do it without, props to her!
I really love this family. I come from a small family of two, just me and my sister. My parents had a bad marriage with lots of anger. My sister doesn't come home anymore and I barely see her.
ReplyDeleteI've always missed a large family, always felt alone. I really dreamt as a child of being raised in a large, warm and loving family like the Duggars, and when I watch the show, it feels like my family.
Having a little, but warm and loving family of my own now, with two children, I feel blessed.
I would have wanted more children, but my husband didn't want more and they both have Asperger syndrome. Despite that fact they are very sweet and I love them very very much. I hope they will have children too.
That was wonderful! Love the Duggars so much!! :)
ReplyDeletei was telling a friend the other day about the duggars and the bates, and realized as i was saying, that they each have 19 kids, 3 are married and all were pregnant at the same time in both families, and each have 1 child courting at the moment! isnt that insanely awesome!! looks like both families are in for a lot of multiplication from now on.
ReplyDeleteYou never let me down. They ask you over and over why and you always say your faith. The first time I saw Michelle give birth the first words from her mouth were "Thank you Lord Jesus" and I said to my husband this show is gone, but they kept it! I am a loyal TLC fan forever because of that, and surely when you see Jesus he will say "well done, my good and faithful servants". THANK YOU so much.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad to think about the Duggar family maybe 10 or 15 years down the line -- there will be so many spouses and grandchildren, it will not be possible for everyone to be close, for the aunts and uncles and grandparents to really know all of the kids or spend quality time together. There's only so many hours in a day, so many days in a week.
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie, you have no idea how grateful I am that we have this site. I just got off IG and am appalled at what horrific comments I read about this family. I can actually have my girls enjoy your site without the worry...thank you thank you thank you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful show. When you start adding more grandbabies pictures, please separate them from the pictures of the children. It doesn't look right to have grandbabies in front of Jana, etc. You could always put the last name on each grandchild so people would know who the parents are. Although people who follow the Duggars already know! Also please update the pics of the small kids. Heck update the bigger kids too! They've grown more too. Thank you for the wonderful job you do on the websites. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteThis family is precious...in our sight and in the Lord's.
ReplyDeleteSarah, you have a beautiful heart. Praying for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteGosh this is so exciting <3 We have ten and I dream of one day having many wonderful grandbabies as well.
ReplyDeleteNice interview. It would be a double blessing if Jessa has twins. Hope Jill starts to feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless The Duggars
Joan,Marion and Marilyn
Agree with Melanie. There's no reason in this modern age for a woman to go through such pain.
ReplyDeleteWell the Bible says there will be pain in childbirth, so why would we take pain meds...
DeleteIs there anything else going on in the Duggar's lives besides weddings and babies?
ReplyDeleteThe Duggar family are so wonderful. I wish that I lived in Duggar town.
ReplyDeleteI love your show 19 Kids and Counting. I watch it every Tuesday night. Congratulations on you 2 coming grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI would like to meet the whole family in person.
I love your show 19 Kids and Counting. I watch if every Tuesday night. If you are ever in Florida I would like to meet the whole family in person.
ReplyDeleteI want to be part of that family...........Love them.
ReplyDeleteWhen will we begin to see Jessa's pregnancy updates like Jill's?
ReplyDeleteJust because Jill wanted to post the weekly updates of her pregnancy doesn't mean that Jessa has to do the same. It is her and Ben's choice how much they want to share and we should respect this.
DeleteLove watching this program.
ReplyDeleteLove the blog but Tucson is misspelled. Great to my hometown has made it on to the duggar family blog.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Duggar's (and the Bates)! Their love for God and for one another is not only wonderful to see, but such an inspiration! Through them, I have been encouraged myself in my walk with the Lord and show more Godly love towards my own children, even with them moving beyond their teenage years. God bless the Duggars!
ReplyDeleteI hope Jessa has her baby(s) on her annaversery
ReplyDeleteIt began with the birth of Mackynzie, I would say.
ReplyDelete@Melanie
ReplyDeleteI wish people would be careful about giving advice if they are not in the medical field. I would be afraid to advise her to take painkillers, if I was not a pharmacist who knows, for sure, that they will not pass through to little Izzy when she breast feeds him.
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYes, we love seeing the latest pictures. I think Jill looks softer as a mom. I know that she was in pain, bless her heart, in those one set of pictures but I have never seen her look prettier. She looked like she had on very little makeup and she wasn't fake smiling. She just looked so nice. Loved it that she was showing the world that it is ok that we don't have to be back in shape immediately after giving birth; that our babies are much more precious and important.
Please keep multiplying, Duggars! The world needs more God fearing, kind, self-supporting, and law-abiding people like you. Go go go!!!
ReplyDeleteI love my new Duggar name
ReplyDeleteJustine Melody Duggar ok I'm a duggar
To the person who wonders why anyone would take pain meds because the Bible tells us there will be pain in childbirth: The Bible also tells us that Satan prowls around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Should we all just sit around and wait for him to devour us, or should we resist him?
ReplyDeleteGod bless them! Thanks Lily and Ellie for managing this blog. The Duggar's are very encouraging. God's Bible principles do work. Praise and glory to God.
ReplyDeleteMore stuff about jessa pls.
