Who was the white haired lady sitting next to Grandma Duggar? It was a beautiful wedding. Dawn
ReplyDeleteBen's grandmother
DeleteBeautiful! I pray that God blesses this marriage and that He will be glorified in every season that you embark upon.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a very beautiful wedding day, thanks for sharing the pictures!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you!
ReplyDeleteMay we see Jessa's wedding ring?
ReplyDeleteHow did Ben and Jessa prepare financially for marriage while Ben was still in school? Also, did they receive any criticism for marrying young? If so, how did they respond to it? I have had negative views about my wanting to be married young, and I would like to know your view on it.
ReplyDeletedid they have a dinner at their wedding? I didn't see the room at the reception that was showed earlier in the show where Mrs. Seewald was doing flower arrangements.
ReplyDeleteThat was the rehearsal dinner: chili. Wedding reception was ice cream & toppings, water, & brownies, outside in the November cold.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos! You can tell they are so in love. Her dress looked absolutely amazing on her! And the ice cream sundae idea was so cool.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching the wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony. Dress was gorgeous and I loved the color. Hope you and Ben have a wonderful life and hope good fortunes from God almighty. God bless
ReplyDeleteGorgeous couple!! Truly inspiring to witness Godly love that the Jim Bob and Michelle taught at home spilling over so wonderfully into now the 3rd Duggar to get married. Quite refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI am NOT NOT NOT criticizing, but what's with running away from altar and out of the Sanctuary, (at least that's what we Lutherans call it)? Is it a new thing the young people are doing these days? Am I older than I thought? Lol....
ReplyDeleteI would also like to understand about why they ran. I remember that Jill and Derick did the same. To me a church has an alter and a congregation rather than a stage and an audience.
DeleteClergy spouse. Never seen it before, but I'm OK with it, especially in that type of building & none liturgical denomination.
DeleteGood for them having that private moment of their first kiss!! Wasn't impressed though that when they were running down the aisle, Derrick grabbed Jill and dipped her and gave her a big smooch, like they were trying to steal the spotlight and make it their moment.
ReplyDeleteI wish the media would quit referring to the married women by their maiden name. Disrespectful to the husbands. They may have to stand up to Jim Bob one of these days.
DeleteVal Kyrie what are you referring to? You replied to this particular comment but this person did not call Jill a Duggar, just that Derick and Jill kind of tried to steal the spotlight by doing that big kiss....
DeleteWas one of the Bates girls a bridesmaid?
DeleteI saw Ben salute a couple of times. Is he in the military?
ReplyDeleteI was surprised as well...guess this young man does not realize that a salute is only meant for members of the military.
DeleteLovely photos of a beautiful wedding. Congratulations to the Seewalds!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this photos! I love looking at them! Ben and Jessa are so sweet together and the wedding was very pretty!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Amy From Texas
cool pics I watch your shows all the time and would love too buy your books And DVD
ReplyDeleteYawn........old news. Let's get some pics of the littles!
ReplyDeleteSo sad that spiritual in the voting colomn to the left has so far received low results. This proves what I've been noticing with 'fans' the last year and a half , in my opinion. More about looks and worldly changes than of 'the witnessing of the Lord.' Let's bring back more of Gods word in 19 kids and counting! i don't hear of it spoken as often.
ReplyDeleteA ca would have been much more classy then ice cream sundays.
ReplyDeleteSo Beautiful and God Bless you! Mrs. Krijgsman
ReplyDeleteWho was the white haired lady standing next to Grandma Duggar?
ReplyDeletelovely couple lovely wedding
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Thank you for sharing & God bless.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful couple... beautiful wedding! May their future be long and loving!! God Bless them both!
ReplyDeleteLove the wedding and love the show but why do they run out of the church?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I live in Gravette and have been following your family since the 80s. Best wishes for your future together.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful wedding! I'm so happy for Jessa and Ben:)
ReplyDeleteI though Jessa and Ben's wedding was so much more sophisticated than Jill and Derrick's! And best of all Jessa's dress fit her properly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful couple, and lovely ceremony, God's blessings on you both as you begin your new life together!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a bride helping her groom get dressed for the wedding...certainly not modest or in keeping with their strict "hands off" before marriage policy. Jill and Derick did the same thing. How is this justified? Just not done.
ReplyDeleteThat's why they have a best man. I like the idea of the "first look."
DeleteIt's not like he saw her in her dress. Also they were surrounded by the wedding party.
DeleteCongratulations Ben and Jessa! We wish you well. God bless you! I LOVE Jessa's dress. And I love the colors she picked.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful photos, I think the table that Guinn. Seewald made to honor the grandparents was precious.
ReplyDeleteAw I love there theme 😉
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful wedding. Thank you for sharing with all of us. God Bless you both♥
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Ben & Jessa on your beautiful wedding and Happy Fifth Month-Aversary (sp?)!
ReplyDeleteThank you to all the Duggars for sharing your lives and being such great examples.
I love that my 11.5 year old was watching with me, saying that he thought it was a great idea to wait for the first kiss. He said he may kiss a girl on the cheek, but side hugs are definite... I am hoping for total purity like you all showed. And I thank you for bringing wholesome TV into our homes.
Many blessings,
Emily
Twelve ice cream sudae toppings for the bride and groom is a lot! Was that a take home gift?
ReplyDeleteJessa and Ben's wedding was absolutely beautiful. I just loved watching it, and I love watching ALL episodes of 19 Kids And Counting. That show makes me happy...such a loving family with such high moral values and love for our Lord and Saviour.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...now let's see the ring up close...thanks
ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY! !!! BEAUTIFUL COUPLE! !! I HAVE MISSED THE WEDDING EPISODE:/:/GRRR
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wedding.
ReplyDeleteThe Ceremony was just lovely. I'm SO happy for both families and the happy couple. What an inspiration for all families. God bless!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! Especially love the groomsmen formation picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting these pictures, they are so lovely, and best wishes to the happy couple always!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and God honoring wedding . The pictures are also beautiful, what a wonderful day to remember.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful......Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA heavenly day for a match made in Heaven!!!
Congrats, Ben and Jessa!
ReplyDeleteI love how Ben is holding his fist in the air like, "yes!" when they're running down the isle! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the bridesmaids were family. The other four bridesmaids were friends and not on that particular picture. Do you have more pictures of the reception? I think there was a pic of a pair of boots as part of a decoration. May we see that?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I am so happy for them!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family with uncredable values!! You guts are such an inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful wedding, and Jessa looked stunning !!! Love this family and their values !!! Such a blessing to see a family program like this on television !! God bless you all !!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Who is the white haired lady to the right in the picture of Jim-Bob walking Jessa down the aisle? Is it Michelle's mother?
ReplyDeleteTo all the Duggars,
Have a Blessed Holy Week and a Joyous Easter.
Joan,Marion and Marilyn
Cute!!❤️💏💑👫😍😃
ReplyDeleteAww I love it
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Jessa's dress was so elegant, and she looked like a princess! The photographer was amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhy do they run down the aisle at the end? We walk down slowly in England!
ReplyDeleteI believe it's because they did not kiss at the alter they wanted it to be a more private intamite moment between the two and I'm sure they were very excited to spend their first moments as a married couple with chaperones as well...
DeleteI really liked the photos. I like the one where Jessa and Ben are running off the alter. Also the one of the parents, Jessa and Ben praying.
ReplyDelete-AJ-
So they could kiss.
DeleteBeautiful wedding photos! I wish you both every happiness in the world!
ReplyDeleteThey make such an adorable couple!! Although, I am surprised they are not expecting yet......hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteThere are several pictures that Jessa really looks like Jill in them.
ReplyDeleteIt was absolutely beautiful. So happy for you both.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they received a lot in gifts yet guests had to stand in the cold and got icecream😔
thank you for sharing these pictures lily & ellie. i really love the mixing of sand idea. my daughter wants to get married at the beach, and after listening to what mike schadt said, i think i'd like to incorporate this with a twist ~ since the families are also combining, i think it would be nice to have a bottle for each set of parents. i know for me, it would also be a subconscious reminder that i have accepted to share her with another family.
ReplyDeletejessa sounded so excited that there was a special ice cream for ben! how sweet!
i too am wondering who the lady next to grandma duggar is, and realized i dont know anything about grandma duggar, like if she has siblings. in certain weddings, the front row is reserved for parents and grandparents & greatgrandparents. do you know if she is a relative?
What a wonderfull couple, and a great family! The sweetness of Michelle brings tears to my eyes,..tears of joy that is. Kind regards form the Netherlands. Whenever you would like to spent a holiday in our beautyfull little country I will be your guide! Tulipfields, Rembrandt, canals of Amsterdam..its all waiting for you..xxx
ReplyDelete@Anonymous I THINK HE DID THAT TO COPY JOSH. BECAUSE JOSH DID THAT IN JILL'S WEDDING. BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT ANOTHER GROOMSMAN TO WALK HER OUT. ALL IN GOOD FUN.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, picture #17, the first one of them kissing. I think she is kissing his chin. More practice needed! Ha! They both missed the mark!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos !
ReplyDeleteLily & Ellie:
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great updates! One request though- can you post a picture of Jessa's ring? With all the scenes of Ben sketching the design and talking to the jeweler about it, we want to see it!!
Thank you!
great patography
ReplyDeleteu cen watch jessas wedding on utube
ReplyDelete@Anonymous They were running to share their first, long-awaited kiss in private.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous They are in a very joyful hurry to begin their married life together!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Perhaps it's a "Duggar thing", as Jill and Derick also ran out after their ceremony. But in Jessa and Ben's case, they truthfully were anxious to leave so that they could share their first kiss in private, away from the cameras and guests.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous They had a rehearsal dinner the night before, in that room. But for their wedding reception, they chose to have it outdoors.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful selections from their album! Brandon Otto is quite a talented photographer!
ReplyDeleteHaving both sets of parents praying with the couple during the ceremony was so precious! I've never seen that done anywhere before. Does anyone know where Jessa got her grey shirt from, with the word "Wife" screenprinted across the front?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! I really like the bridesmaids dresses. I really like the sparkles on Jessa's dress.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteSigh,
She was helping him with his tie, putting on his jacket and clipping his hair and beard to give it a tidy up before the ceremony. Nothing more than that.
@joan, Marion and Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteNo, it was not Michelle's mother. As she has been dead for a number of years now. More than likely it was a lady they refer to as 'nana'. Who not only did the Duggars laundry for years, but she also taught the children piano. They treat her like family.
Where were the rest of the Duggars sitting??? I saw Amy.

ReplyDeletePerhaps the network decides how much gets through. And many of the people that watch know the LORD, have their own church and just enjoy watching something that is God honoring.
The others are probably attracted to the light though they are not sure why. God won't leave them in the dark just because the network may chose to do so.
We are to judge each other within the church when there is sin. Not the outside world or things that we can't possibly know for sure and definitely not each other based on our opinions.
@AnonymousI wondered too! Didn't Jill and Derick do it, too? I always felt it was disrespectful to run in the church. I don't like to see little kids doing it either.
ReplyDeleteI loved the preparation; the excitement and the anticipating. The wedding was beautiful and I wish Jessa and Ben much happiness, love and health for their lifetime. God bless.
ReplyDeleteI think its very disrespectful to run in a church, didn't care for it at Jill's wedding either. I have never seen a wedding party do this, maybe it is a Duggar thing. I just think it seems very odd.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you both! May God guide you through your ups and downs. Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove the kiss...... its sooooooo......Jessa!
ReplyDeleteIt was the most romantic wedding they were soooo cute and sweet and I love ALL the pictures but the ones after the wedding out on the hill are my MOST favorites different and unique!!! God Bless ALL your years together!!!!!
