Do you remember watching Jana and Jill Duggar have their wisdom teeth pulled in 18 Kids and Counting "Duggars Under the Knife"? That was six years ago. Since then, several other Duggars have had the same procedure. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar recently took 18-year-old Josiah Duggar to have his wisdom teeth surgery. Jason Duggar captured the moment in the following video:
Feel better soon Josiah. Keep the bell ringing for snacks and meds. God Bless You♥
ReplyDeleteSincerely Pam C
i know i did not have that much pain when I got mine out. think they make too much out of it.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is different. I had 5 teeth pulled at the time of my wisdom teeth extraction. They were all impacted and I had stitches all through my mouth. Just because you didn't have pain, doesn't mean someone else doesnt.
DeleteThis made me laugh!!! I got my wisdom teeth removed on Friday... So I very much relate to Josiah!!
ReplyDeleteFeel better Josiah <3
ReplyDeletePoor guy, I really feel for you. I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth and had to have part of my jaw removed as well. Take care, lots of ice and I will be praying for you!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Josiah! My son had his out last week too - speedy recovery to you both!! Worst part is waiting to eat regular food again ~ hang in there :D
ReplyDeleteLol! At least you didn't say anything embarrassing Josiah!
ReplyDeletePoor guy! I can feel it again how much it hurts! I'm glad I don't have them anymore! Hope he is getting better very soon!
ReplyDeleteHope Josiah is doing well.
ReplyDeleteOh I can sympathise. I've had mine out too. It was painful, but good to get it done! I hope you have a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteI surgery out 23 teeth and "leave" one! That´s for the "big" boy´s ,you known!
ReplyDeleteGood job Josiah
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that was before or after Joy got hers pulled.
ReplyDeleteBefore because Josiah is older than her and this happened a few days ago
DeleteJosiah got his out after Joy's because this happened a few days ago
DeleteJosiah is adorable, I wish he was my son! My favorite Duggar by far.
ReplyDeleteThat poor child!!! Why are they videoing him right after a painful procedure like that???? You can see the tears in his eyes! Sometimes, the cameras need to be shut off
ReplyDeleteFirstly, he isnt a child. He is a young man. Secondly, he was well aware he was being filmed and could of declined being filmed whenever he wanted. Thirdly, he didnt HAVE to talk. He could of raised his hand as if to say he is in too much pain to talk right now. Fourthly, he would of been high on pain meds, fithly, it wont be the worst pain in his life and finally, his eyes were watering. He wasnt crying, theres a difference. Im sure he was taken good care of at home
DeleteYou can tell he's in on it... I really doubt they would force him if he didn't want to do It
DeleteOooh, poor Josiah... Shouldn't have asked him questions after but I really enjoyed his responses it was funny. I really like his personality he's very attractive too. When TLC isn't there they are still filming sometimes, I can see they really like to capture any moment on camera. Love this family
ReplyDeleteabout the voting on what I like to see on the show. I love it all. I could not think of leaving one off the list.
ReplyDeletelove everything about the show.
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that. Thankfully I had only my top left removed when I was 13. I did have the usual swelling and a bit of bruising as well, but that's all normal. The trick to having a smooth and quick recovery is to have the surgery on a Monday or a Tuesday, and as early as possible in the day, so that recovery will fly by faster than if it was done on a Friday.
ReplyDeleteAwe, he looked uncomfortable, too bad he didn't have Joy with him as she is just a year younger, they could have recouped together. I'm sure he got the royal treatment by his siblings like they have all done in the past, homemade applesauce and all :-)
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteDid you get put out or use nitrous oxide to have this procedure done? If so which one and how did it make you feel after, did you talk funny or where you completely fine?
GOD BLESS YOU. Get plenty of rest. Thinking of you for a speedy recovery
ReplyDeleteI just had mine out at 53. Better to have them out when you are young.
ReplyDeletePraying that you have a speedy recovery.
Hello anonymous :i just had mine out on last week...I was fine and thought it wasn't bad....then the pain meds wore off.omg!it's been tough I heard it takes 2 weeks for the pain to go completely away...and I was asleep for the procedure it took 45 min for all of mine to get out.if u need to get it done....get them to prescribe u 800 MG of ibuprofen and tylenol 3 with codeine....I took them at the same time ..it will be a week on tomorow I still got some recovery time to go ...get plenty of rest pop them pain meds ..u will be fine:)
ReplyDeleteCouldn't watch this, I felt nausea just reading the description. Hope the youngin' is feelin' better!
ReplyDeletePoor Josiah! Hope he is doing well.
ReplyDeleteThe Josh Duggars have become so fashionable since adapting to DC living.
ReplyDeleteAnna's hair and makeup always looks nice, much better than before. They are dressing much more sophisticated than before. The kids always look adorable. McKenzie always looks so cute with her jewelry. Life in the "big city" must be good for them!
GET WELL josiah
ReplyDeleteI feel for you Buddy..... I still rank my wisdom teeth surgery as the WORST experience of my entire life.... I got an infection after which left me with a foul metallic taste in my mouth, and hallucinating that there were purple horses in my bedroom. My Husband definitely saw me at my worse those few weeks. Praying for a quick recovery for you !! P.S. Use a GOOD quality mouthwash... ALOT !!
ReplyDeleteOkay. My children had their wisdom teeth removed too. It really wasn't worthy of a home video, or even a photo. This is so just not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteFeel better and enjoy being spoiled a bit!!
ReplyDeleteHe can't be really in that much pain. John David is laughing, and he wouldn't be if his brother was really in that much pain.
ReplyDeleteEverything is a production with the Duggars.
