Decorate Like a Seewald

Jessa (Duggar) and Ben Seewald are settling into married life in Josh and Anna's old house. Although their home is small, it is beautifully decorated with wedding gifts from family and friends, items purchased secondhand, and lots of framed photos. We thought we would show you a few of the couple's decorations:

The Seewalds received a monogrammed doormat as a wedding gift.

Above their stove is a personalized sign that reads: "The Seewald Family, Established 2014." In their living room, Jessa and Ben have this rustic clock...

...And a "Happily Ever After" sign.

On their bed, the couple has the same "Mr. and Mrs." pillow as Jill and Derick Dillard.

They also have this adorable sign hanging on the wall in their bedroom:

  1. Could you find out where to purchase the sign: "You are the peanut to my butter..."? I love that and the colors. I found rustic ones, etc... but not one like hers w/all the pretty colors. Thank you!

  8. Personally I like the clock the best, the rest a person sort needs to have the emotion to add to the sentiment expressed on the objects to really get into liking the things. I am sure they have all the emotions to make them like the sentiments on the objects! Their house must speak to them!!!

  11. @Anonymous 3....... Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. James 4:11

  12. I want to know about the sledding and the poor cat. I was getting ready to watch tonight, but now feel disappointed in the family values. I have been a loyal, constant viewer since the first show.

  14. You know i don't understand why people who think negatively of the family would be reading- let alone posting- on a DUGGAR BLOG. Why can't people just not come to the site if they are offended by everything about this beautiful family? I personally think the Duggar's and all of their in- law's show the kind of morals and love that we all need to have when it comes to raising successful Christian families. Good job to all of you and God bless!

  16. In reference to courting rules, etc. I think modesty is a way of life for many Christians. They choose to be chaste, I think it's great. My 20 year old daughter is waiting for the right man, and maintains her purity. I admire the way my daughter is and the Duggar girls, too.

  17. God Bless your family you are a breath of fresh air -- it is beautiful to see families that together put the Lord first in their lives and proud of the way they chose to live by his word --many blessings
