This will be one of the last (and perhaps the very last) photos of Jill Dillard's baby bump. She is 37 weeks pregnant. Baby Dilly is getting ready to make his big debut. Jill and Derick plan to have a home birth but have not announced how much of it will be filmed. Stay tuned!
Jill (Duggar) Dillard, 37 weeks pregnant
Jill looks great, a bit tired maybe, but she looks so pretty and neat, she made it so far beautifully!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Jill, Derick and baby for the rest of this journey!
Duggars.... You rule!!!!
DeleteIs it me or does it look like she's already dropped???? Won't be long now...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely
DeleteYay! Cannot wait for Baby Dilly's arrival! Jill looks great!
ReplyDeleteShe looks great! I hope she has an easy labor and delivery.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Can't wait to see baby Dilly!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the baby congrats to u both come on baby 😘
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the big day. We wish her a healthy and safe delivery. She has looked very pretty through her pregnancy. It will be fun to see her and Derick as parents.
ReplyDeleteWe could still be waiting a bit. First times run late n its a guess date only.
ReplyDeleteJill you look amazing!
Hold your horses there ladies... there will probably be 2 - 3 more pictures like this one. Ya'll are getting too excited for that baby. It's due on Mar 24'th remember? If it comes early there will be alot of speculation that it was conceived before the wedding.
ReplyDeleteDue date is based on 40 weeks. Very likely to delivery at 38 weeks, it's completely normal.
DeleteThere won't be any speculation if people actually understand pregnancy. Babies, first one or not, come on their own time. I personally developed pre-eclampsia with my first and was induced at 37, 0 days. I know people who had their first babies at 38 weeks. It's all dependent on when her body and that baby are ready to go. 40 weeks is just an average length of time.
DeleteYou know a baby can come early, right? Baby dilly could not have even remotely have been possibly conceived before marriage because they always had someone with them. Baby dilly was just a honeymoon baby and 37 week is consider full term so it's not really that questionable.
DeleteI had my baby at 38 weeks. Not everybody goes the whole 40.
DeleteYou are SO RIGHT! Hopefully he is full term and healthy :)
DeleteJordan James dillard
ReplyDeletei think you should name it
or james henry dillard
or Bruce earl dillard
or micheal john dillard
Jordyn, James and John are already children of Jim Bob and Michelle so those probably won't be used as first names. Also, Michael is the name of Josh and Ann's second child so he probably won't be named that. I do love the name Henry and I'm guessing that Derick's father will be honored somehow as well. However, best of luck to you Jill!
DeleteJill and Derick's son is going to be so loved! I am so happy for them.
ReplyDeleteOmg, I'm excited can't wait.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Jill. Can't wait to see pictures of baby Dilly.
ReplyDeleteYou never know! My fifth came at 37.5 wks... but my first was right on schedule.
ReplyDeletePraying you have a easy delivery. We look forward to seeing baby dilly
ReplyDeleteMay you all be blessed
They should film the whole birth.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like she has dropped.
ReplyDeleteHa! Too funny! People have been commenting that the baby looks like it dropped or that she's been carrying low for the past three months!
ReplyDeleteAwww you look beautiful Jill! Praying for a safe and easy delivery!! You and Derick will be wonderful parents! Congratulations to you both!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We can't wait to hear he's finally made his appearance. May God bless you and your family and have a safe and quick delivery :)

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see Baby Dilly!!!

ReplyDeletewhen you are told how far along you are they go by your last menstral and by how big the baby is its not fool proof and garanteed extactly when you concieved or if you are having a boy or a girl its all estimated
So happy for Jill, she's gonna be a great mama.
ReplyDeleteBabies come when they come. Who cares what people think of the conception timing? While I am sure they waited it would not matter at all. A baby is a blessing under each circumstance. Did the people of Nazareth do the math and think badly of the family a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie! Looks like she's dropped some since the last picture. :)
ReplyDeleteMy first came at 37-5...it is different for everyone
ReplyDeleteThat sounds a little way too early.

Best wishes for labor and delivery of baby Dilly.
ReplyDeleteI predict she will deliver two weeks early because when your having a boy they seem to come two weeks early because she looks ready to drop. So hold on ladies, you may be hearing birth news another week tomorrow and announcing it here on the blog next Friday (March 13). Wouldn't it be funny if baby Dilly came on his father Derick's birthday? All of us will just have to wait and see huh?
ReplyDeleteShe looks so beautiful. ...
ReplyDeleteMost first time baby's come at 41 weeks and 1 day, so she probably has another 4 weeks to go. Especially since we know she won't be opting for a medical induction.
ReplyDeleteCan not wait to see the baby. You take care.
ReplyDeleteAnd what letter of the alphabet are you going to use in naming your children.
Here are two great names to think of.
Dennis and Dasiy why not do D for your children names.
Congratulations, I loved watching u an derricks love story unfold. Its nice to see true love an romance still exist in a world of so much hate. Thank you
ReplyDeletelooks like her belly is ready to drop
ReplyDeleteIn answer to Anonymous 2 : At the 33 week mark baby Dilly appears higher up than at the 35 week. At 36 weeks he looked like he has gone up slightly but that just maybe the way Jill is holding her Baby belly. At 37 weeks she looks more like she did at 35 weeks. So it looks like Baby Dilly is down a bit further but I don't think he has dropped down completely yet. Being a Midwife, Jill will know when her son has dropped down far enough to be engaged. He may well be trying out different positions or trying to get comfortable at this stage. At one stage in Jill's pregnancy I thought baby Dilly might be laying sideways - hence Jill appears so big. Only time will tell if that process has really begun, perhaps allowing another photo or two before he decides its time to meet his family.
ReplyDeleteI hope none of it is filmed! Seeing women in labor is a bit scarring for me and other young viewers, lol. On another note, Jill looks absolutely beautiful!! :)
ReplyDeleteShe could have another 3-5 weeks left of pregnancy. 37 weeks just means baby will be OK if he comes early. You never know if she will late or wicked early. And you can't go by parents or others. Both my sisters went to their due dates and my mom was late with all 6 of her kids yet I have been 2-3 weeks early with my kids. She could be up to 2 weeks late. Most likely she will be a few days late as it is her first. You usually go later with your first.
ReplyDeleteGetting closer and closer! Try to rest as much as possible! I'm due May 27th with a little boy as well. I know how tiring the end can be. Hope you have a healthy, quick, and safe delivery! Can't wait to see baby dilly!
ReplyDeleteIF it comes early it doesn't mean she conceived before the wedding. I have several friends who even with their first did not make it to 40 weeks. I know that often people go over 40 with the first, but that is for sure not always!
ReplyDeletewould LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a montage of all the belly photos beside each other ... that would be fun to say baby dilly grow!
ReplyDeleteAww, she looks so spectacular!!!!!! :) wish I looked that great. and btw, not all first babies stay in longer. mine got here at my 37th week, to tge day. as did my next 3. baby 5 was stubborn and stayed in until 40 weeks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday :)
ReplyDeleteYou're first child a special moment :)
Loves,
MICHELLE
I know she is so excited! We can't wait to see pictures of their baby boy. She could be late. I was almost a week late with my first.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't surprise me if she is a few days late. But also babies can come early. My last baby came a few weeks early. I was surprised but now I know labor came come at anytime. It could be the baby is ready or just something caused your labor to come early.
ReplyDeleteShe looks good - all baby! I like her hair too!
ReplyDeleteJill you look great. He is almost here and I can't wait to see your baby. It does look like she has dropped maybe he will be born sooner. She could have him up to two weeks early and it still be considered full term. I bet you and Derick are just so excited now Along with the full Duggar clan. Baby Dilly come out come out we want to see you!!
ReplyDeleteShe is dropping and her some suggestions of name Emmett and Jonah
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for baby Dillard to come!! I'm really hoping they'll film the home birth process like they did with Josh and Anna!!:) Praying for a safe delivery for mama and baby when the time comes!!<3
ReplyDelete@AnonymousI think she has dropped.
ReplyDeleteOmg I can't wait! !!!
ReplyDeleteJill looks great! The baby wasn't conceived before the wedding. If it comes early, it's called being premature. Best wishes Jill and Derick!!!!
ReplyDeleteall my kids came early, I am 5'2'' and they did not fit! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Duggars seem to be very supportive to home births. I don't know if it has something to do with their beliefs, or if it is part of their country's culture, but since I'm from another country, if I had the chance to ask the Duggars a question, I would ask them what do they have to say about the feminism influences on home birth increase (my body, my choice... "empower" women...etc).
ReplyDeleteI'm not trying to be mean, it's just curiosity, I would love to see them talk about that, since I'm from another country and our culture is a little bit different.
Well, anyways... congratulations to Jill, she looks so pretty! I wish her a safe and blessed delivery!
I hope we can expect a 38 weeks picture, a 39 weeks picture, a 40 weeks picture, then a newborn picture ( or a 41 weeks picture-lol
ReplyDeleteJill you are special. You are so kind to your siblings and you always have a smile.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your baby!
Could be another 3 or 4 weeks yet if she goes a week or two overdue. First time mums tend to go over due. I wish I looked that good when I have my first.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see pictures of Baby Dilly! Congrats Jill and Derick! You both will be fine parents! Jill, I hope you have an easy delivery. God Bless, and I'll be praying for you all!
ReplyDeleteCharisa
I am so excited for Jill and Derick, as well as Josh and Anna! They are all so blessed!
ReplyDeleteJill & Derek, you are both so very blessed. Baby Dilly will be here before you know it. Cherish these moments, each and every one. These times are precious and are only given to us one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteJill looks great and a home birth for her first baby wow I have always heard the first baby takes the longest but I guess they have been preparing so hears to a quick and easy labor.
ReplyDeleteI hope they film their birth.
ReplyDeleteWho cares about speculation? It's between Jill, Derek, & God...they are the ones that know when this baby was conceived. He is the only one they have to answer to. Jill, you look amazing! I pray you have a quick and smooth delivery, and both you and baby do well. My thoughts and prayers are with you! :)
ReplyDeleteYay so happy for her
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI do not think that people would think that the baby was conceived before the wedding... Don't people know that babies do come early? I do agree with you that there will more likely be 2-3 more pics!
My first child was 8 days early.....so you never know.
ReplyDeleteGREETINGS FROM VANCOUVER,B.C.. GOD BLESS ALL THREE OF YOU.I KNOW GOD IS WATCHING OVER ALL OF YOU! LOVE YOU ALL. MARY
ReplyDeleteMy boy was my first and was born exactly at 38 weeks. We also knew the day we conceived too so we knew the weeks were not miscalculated. Babies come on their own time. He was ready and was even close to 8lbs 2 weeks early. Every pregnancy and baby is different. I am very happy for Jill and Derick. They are refreshing to watch and follow.
ReplyDeleteShe might look great but I did not know that Derrick was so terrible to animals. As an animal lover, and I know I am not alone, I will be spending less time supporting the Duggar family and more time enjoying the Bates family. I think fame has gone to the Duggars heads. I'm seeing heavier makeup, countless selfies, and the like. The Bates seem more relatable AND respectful of animals. I'm very disappointed with Derrick.
ReplyDeleteHow can you possibly believe that a sweet person like Derick would intentionally hurt anyone or any thing? You are playing judge and jury without knowing all the facts! I will say though that at least your post is not as profane and ugly as some of the responses I've seen on twitter and Facebook. Thank you for that.
DeleteIf you watch the video Derrick had more than enough room to pass the cat adequately. The laughing and cheering in the background is absurd. As a Christian it really hurts his witness and he needs to address the public/fans if he desires to "clear up any misunderstanding". The Duggars have been given a platform and need to use discernment and wisdom. This is not judging but simply calling it as you see it. It's on video need I say more?
DeleteNow lookey here, ya see all the comments above just prove a very valid point, a woman's pregnancy is not the same as the next.We all have different experiences...we carry differently in size as well as when we give birth, May it be 37weeks or 41weeks or very premature, so now can all the naysayers please stop with the speculations, I for one am getting tired of it.The best advice I can give is to thoroughly educate yourself about a subject before you insult some folks.God bless and Amen O:-)
ReplyDeleteMy first child a son was born in March and was 3 days early. Praying for a safe natural delivery. Can't wait to see their happy faces when baby dilly arrives
DeleteHope they don't adopt any pets until Derek and the Duggars talk publicly about what went on with that poor cat. I tried to think reasonably about this but came to the conclusion from watching the video that he had loads of room to avoid the path aiming right at the cat. Also the kids were so eager to make sure he was pushed to get going into the cat before it moved, they almost seemed frantic to ensure he took off right away so that he could hit the cat. I'd really like to believe otherwise because I used to like the Duggars but they no longer seem as nice or genuine anymore. I wish I could get the Bates program, think they seem more sincere. Sorry Duggars, but you seem to be ignoring the concerns from your fans.
ReplyDeleteI totally concur. I'm planning to watch Jessa's wedding and then discontinue watching the Duggars. We never hear or see much about the other kids just Jill and Jessa. Plus the cat video is another issue many have, including myself. I think Erin Bates is just as beautiful as Jessa but more humble. I wish the Duggars would wake up and pay more attention to the concerns of their fans.
DeleteI don't think Derick did anything intentional to hurt that cat. He isn't a mean person, not at all.
ReplyDeleteI honestly hope you are right. But why would he point his cookie tray sled (why are the Duggars resorting to bakeware for toboggans anyway? ) right at a cat who is enjoying sitting in the sun? And I agree, why would the kids(sounds like Joy) frantically try to make sure he gets going before the kitty moves? Couldn't he have waited for the cat to move or had one of the kids gently pick up the cat and move him first? As a caring parent, that's what my kids would expect of me. It seemed to be a big joke for these kids and in my mind, that amounts to bullying behavior.
DeleteWho's to say that he intentionally took aim at the cat? Remember he was pushed by Ben! I mean honestly, maybe he and/or Ben thought he would brush by the cat not into the cat! Have you ever been sledding? It is alittle hard to control where you go. You tend to forget this if you haven't been sledding in awhile.
ReplyDeleteI go sledding often, I live north and we sled all winter. And no, on a hill we always wait until any people or dogs are not in our path, especially with such a wide area like Derek had. We would just move over, well out of the path of an innocent cat. We love our kids and our pets too. Sorry, he and Ben and the kids laughing in the background owe fans an explanation or we will always be left wondering.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you guys! Can't wait to see pictures!
