That was a good little video. Thank-you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place for a holiday! Looks like the locals were lovely, kind and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteTh is is so encouraging to know that the Duggars are encouraging the gospel in everything! Praise the Lord!
ReplyDeleteGrace
I absolutely love the Duggars!! They are such an amazing inspiration to me and so many others. It was a great idea for the boys to take their equipment so that we could be motivated to help. I'm so grateful for their example!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas parties, face and nail painting and humanitarian help. This is not "misionary" work, it is social work.
ReplyDeleteHow many times did this short video show fingernail painting? It's kind of like a street carnival.
ReplyDeleteThe giving of a gift.and the sharing of the gospel message....precious!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a REALLY well put together video! People make editing videos look so easy! I wish I could do it! Great job Duggar boys! Your family is amazing and sometimes I wish I were a part of it. God bless.
ReplyDeleteSure wish i had money like the Duggars. They get to travel everywhere. Ive always wanted to travel abroad with my family but likely never will get to cuz we're poor
ReplyDeletewow they are really good.
ReplyDeleteThis video was really heartbreaking for me. I almost cried in a few parts of the video. I'm glad the Duggars went to El Salvador to encourage the families there.
ReplyDeleteWe recently had a mission team come down to Ecuador to help put up part of a roof section for our school. The team was only here for a week, but they've left quite an impact on the students.
I can't wait until the next season comes out for 19 KAC!
Cheers all the way from Ecuador!
Great video guys!!!! Loved it! Very nice work you did in El Salvador:-):-)
ReplyDeleteThat was nicely done. I sometimes feel ministry pictures take on a feeling of "oh look at me helping the poooor!" Almost like the way someone would take a picture of a koala at the zoo. But this was much better. I especially liked that they give needed practical supplies to families. So good job to the SOS team and Duggar boys for the video!
ReplyDeleteLooking at the video just choked me up. Overwhelmed with emotions for the people in El Salvador. My dream is to be able to go on a missions trip to El Salvador or Costa Rica. I am looking to find friends that would be willing to experience this with me. I would not like to go alone. I'm praying that the Lord will bring someone in my life that will want share this experience of service.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the littlest thing or the smallest act of kindness means so very much to them, it might just be the only good deed done for them in quite awhile.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool video!!!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if the Duggers would be more effective if they would just donate what they spend on travel expenses for 20 people to the people they visit in El Salvador. Do they really need 20 people to preach the gospel at one time? Think of how many practical needs could've been addressed with the money they spent on plane tickets alone!
ReplyDeleteEl Salvador has a higher percentage of Christians (86%) than the United States (72%). WHo exactly are the preaching to?
ReplyDeleteThe Duggars seem so plastic in their appearance. I wish the girls would be more natural and
ReplyDeletestop focusing on their looks.
This why I LOVE THE DUGGAR!!! They bring such happiness to sooooo many, and I think if everyone did what the Daggar's do then the world would be a better place!!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course people will come to hear a gospel message if you give them stuff. How many came primarily to hear the message of Christ?
ReplyDeleteAll that make-up on the girls. Is that a good idea in a poverty-stricken environment?
ReplyDeleteI think it is really sweet of them to go to these places and spread joy. That is really wonderful. However, just look at all the plastic they are handing out! All those bags and packaging around sweets. Poor countries like El Salvador don't have the facilities to recycle all that plastic and most of it will likely end up in the countryside or the ocean. Apart from spreading the gospel, it would be good to spread some ecological consciousness as well.
ReplyDeleteJesus helped everyone no matter where they were in their spiritual lives.... it didn't matter to him that they fill out a questionnaire first. If they were hungry, thirsty or sick, He helped them regardless.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful video. Thank your for sharing all the beautiful smiles. Great producing.
