Jill and Derick Dillard spent the weekend with Josh and Anna Duggar and their three (soon to be four) kids. Anna is due around July 10th, and Jill is due March 24th.

Back home in Arkansas, Jill attended biannual neonatal resuscitation training with her fellow midwives.

ReplyDeleteAnna does not look that big. Jill however looks like she can give birth tomorrow, huge bump! Boys have a tendency to be late, I feel sorry for Jill if she will stay pregnant and after the due date, even now it should be difficult to carry this bump. I wonder when we see Jessa's bump.

ReplyDeletePeople call it Baby Dilly, because that's what Jill calls the baby. I don't think Anna looks big enough to be half way through a twin pregnancy, so it's probably just one baby. I hope it's a girl, since Mackynzie is the only granddaughter. And I do hope that Jessa gets pregnant soon. She's leaving it up to God, so she's not "trying" to get pregnant and she not preventing it.

I remember reading somewhere that Michelle had said some of their children don't like being in the spot light. I bet Jessa and Ben are privately enjoying their early marriage.

ReplyDeleteAnna looks more spread out this time rather than having a baby bump out front. I'm now thinking girl for her. Jill looks radiant, but (this was said about me too at over 8 months) huge. She looks big enough to deliver now. I am not sure how she will be comfortable in 8 more weeks. Oh my. The baby has is biggest growing yet to do. Bless them both.

And Josie!! <3 She just wants to spoil and love a little baby close to home!! :) Youngest kids of families are often just in awe of babies as they haven't experienced them as much as their older siblings. Josie is just adorable! My youngest brother is the same age as Josie and Mackynzie, a few weeks younger than Mackynzie and a few weeks older than Josie! And he just LOVES little babies wherever we see them! :D

ReplyDeleteTo those of you who are saying Jill looks "huge"... She doesn't look huge at all. She looks average for 7 months. If I saw her in the store I would have guessed she was 7 months. If I saw her and she were to tell me she was nine months (since you all are saying she looks like she could have the baby tomorrow) I would say she's small for nine months. It's likely that she reads these comments... I would hate for people to say she was "huge" and it bother her. I'm sure she feels huge but she doesn't need to hear that she is (and because she's not).

ReplyDeleteI am happy for all the expanding families. I wish they could be more up to date pertaining to their TV show. I feel like we are seeing last year's news. They do a great job filming we would just like to see it a little sooner.

I think it's great Jill is still keeping up with midwife training. Even if she puts the active part of it on hold for awhile, she can still keep her training current.

ReplyDeleteI carried my babies all right out front like a big basketball like Jill and I did look huge. It's not meant to sound bad. For a first baby, she does look big, but will most likely have a big baby boy and go right back to pre -pregnancy size. No big deal. It seems it's ok to tell someone that they look small for as far along as they are, but if someone is surprised such as ,"Oh, I thought you were further along due to your size", that it is a bad thing. I had seven pregnancies and all comments. It's just part of it. The only thing that really mattered was that my husband always said I looked lovely. Jill does look lovely, she's just really popped out there.
ReplyDeleteWhy are there articles talking about Anna and the possibility of twins? Any woman who has not had an ultrasound yet has technically not "ruled out twins". Unless she had an early ultrasound and it showed twins, the media is just making some noise about nothing. If she's due in July, she's about 17 or 18 weeks along and will have her ultrasound soon to determine gender. If she were having twins, she'd be much bigger in that picture, and they would already know.

ReplyDeleteAnna will probably not have twins unless she has a family background (on her mother's side) of twins. That is my understanding of how it works. By that criteria, all the Duggar daughters are candidates for having twins! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been following the Duggar family for a while. I admire them.but I have always wondered whether they have ever been to africa. I am a native of Malawi but i have lived in several other African countries. many families had many children including my own (no birth control)but the situation here is different from that of these guys in the US. there is rampant poverty, lack of basic necessities like clean water,food,electricity and shelter and most parents including mine could not afford basic education for their children including my parents. we had to go without food or decent clothing and had to work as kids to earn money and we relied also on foreign donor handouts. that's how I got an education. I got a scholarship and am now a doctor. now i have to help take care of siblings and relatives.the widespread poverty is not due to laziness-for instance both my parents worked hard but made less than $3 a day. Life here is hard. SO MY QUESTION IS WOULD THE DUGGARS RECOMMEND THIS LIFESTYLE TO PEOPLE LIVING IN SITUATIONS LIKE OURS??
ReplyDeleteI think that pregnant women who are nearing the end of their pregnancy are often not out & about in the public eye as much & therefore people think their pregnant bellies are "huge" when they are seen. Jill looks totally normal & healthy for a 32 week pregnant lady. Some women with a short torso etc carry out front more & others with more room to move & tight abdominal muscles appear smaller. It may not be a reflection on baby's size at all, I was "huge" for both my daughters pregnancies & they were very average sizes. The comments on your pregnancy Jill are merely an introduction into the world of motherhood in which there are a number of different opinions held by the public & it's amazing how everyone feels the need to tell you theirs often in opposition to yours 😄 joyous mission though & whatever works for you, your baby & your family is what's important.

ReplyDeleteU might as well add Jessa to the pic, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that she's pregnant, when u look at all the recent postings and none show her belly, that means your hiding soething.I knew it well before Erin announced hers too.I feel bad that they have to hide it for TV reasons, what a full time job it is to make sure your always covered.The fuller face /waist and fidgeting with the clothes around the stomach is a dead giveaway too.Time will tell.
