Yesterday afternoon, Jill Dillard, Derick Dillard, Justin Duggar, and Dan Dillard (Derick's brother) went to a Razorback basketball game in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Duggars and Dillards are loyal Razorback fans and were thrilled when their team beat the Utah Valley Wolverines.
Jill also posed for a baby bump photo. Yesterday, she was 28 weeks and 4 days pregnant.

DeleteI was due just shortly after the time Jill is due and we lost the baby. It gives me some comfort to see Jill as she progresses along with her pregnancy and everything is going so well for her. I'm rooting for her to have her happy, healthy baby and good outcome :)

ReplyDeleteJill, when the baby arrives. Each month on same day take a pic of baby with an adorable sign that says (1 month old, 2 months old, etc). You can put all pics in picture frame or scrabbook.
ReplyDeleteIs 28 weeks meaning 7 months? Why she sticks to the calculation which increases the real term of the pregnancy, while in fact it give her extra 2 weeks? The fetus is at 26 weeks development now.
ReplyDeleteThat is how midwives and medical personnel count it. 40 weeks includes those extra 2 weeks. It's closer to 10 months, so very few pregnant women count by months cuz it can be confusing (and everyone freaks out when you say you're at 9 months, but not due yet. Lol)

I should read their books - we have a few children and would love more but my husband worries we can't provide for more kids, especially youngest who needs therapy and medication. I am so sorry this happened to you too. It is so heartbreaking. I will pray for you too. It is bittersweet to watch another pregnancy progress (as my son was just a week and a half behind theirs) but I rejoice in their blessing and I know God created all our babies- some to live here on earth and some we'll have to wait to live with forever in heaven (so hard, so very, very hard to wait!) I pray God gives you peace and also another chance at the blessing of a baby.
