After the meal, Jill and Jessa took their husbands over to their family's house to watch the Christmas recital put on by several of the Duggar kids.

Wow!!!!! They are getting to be so musically talented! :) They are growing in the gifts God has blessed them with! :) Our family of four players has been given the musical talent too!!!! Isn't it neat how we can use our gifts during the Christmas season to share the love of Christ with people?!!! Way to go Duggars!!!!!! Great job performing! :) You are a wonderful example of Jesus to others!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteExcellent Photos Lily and Ellie. Good to see a photo of the newly married Dillards and Seewalds. Hopefully this will help squash the latest rumors that the Dillards and Seewalds aren't talking. Last week it was the false rumors about Jana Duggar and Tim Tebow, Before that it was apparently a scandal for the newly weds to kiss. ( One wonders how the media brain storms these ideas up and actually then seeks to publish them ! ) Before this the Duggar family was under fire for their stance on Marriage. It seems that the media will go to any length to publish a story with out regard to the truth - and to the expense of this family and in the long run themselves. Keep up the Good work with the factual stories Lily and Ellie. Well I hope this family - or should I say families newer and more seasoned have a Very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.. ReplyDeleteAnonymous #25- no, this is NOT southern cooking in the least. It's called "tight budget newlywed cooking" and nothing more. I live in the south and can tell you that is more of side dish than an actual meal when served and usually only at a BBQ (which is NOT grilling and it involves slow smoke and low temps for a long period of time over several hours to do). Typical southern homes don't cook too much different than other places. We just have a few things that are more regional to the south that you can't find in other places.
