ReplyDeleteI'm just not into the Duggars as much anymore. They certainly have changed. I would enjoy watching so much more if they put focus back on the little ones and how they are being brought up these days.
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I'm curious how they explained to the little ones how it was ok for Ben to come live with them when he wasn't married to Jessa at the time? And will it be ok for other boyfriends to come live before marriage. Just curious how they explained it.
Ben did not live in their house, it was a seperate storage unit modified on the premises away from the main home.The kids witnessed the courtship rules and companions, so no need to explain to them...evidently some others needed the explanation.
DeleteI am new here and just learning all about the duggar people. My question is this...for jim and michelle....before salvation-or even after--were either or both of them involved in --heavy metal--music? Did they attend concerts? Did they watch MTV and the rock videos back in the day? Michelle has such beautiful gorgeous long heavy metal hair and it brings back so many lovely memories of my husband and mine courting days! We are still happiy married as well! We still like rock and roll music. Do you think jim and michelle liked bon jovi and whitesnake and deff lepperd?
ReplyDeleteLol, i never thought of it that way, Michelle did and sometimes still does wear her hair like the 80's hair bands.I highly doubt JB listened to them, he was more religious early on.As for Michelle, she was a cheerlaader and got saved later in her life so she probably has heard of those bands.I still like those bands and rock music and I'm a Christian.

ReplyDeleteNot to be nosy but do most or any of the children in this family receive scholarships for high grades? With so many children just thinking how expensive the college tuition bills will be especially it looks like many close in age.....so they will be in college all at the same time. Do you think they will be eligible for grants? I sure hope they are getting scolarships! And guess maybe doing the parttime work thing to help dad out? Its going to be so awesome to see them all graduate and what they major in!!
ReplyDeleteThis will be a refreshing change from all the needless controversy over something so silly as a kiss.There will ALWAYS be opposing opinions, but the wonderful thing is that what y'all say will not change the way the Duggars choose to live their life, they will continually be blessed and be happy no matter what is being said...that gives me great satisfaction :-) Can't wait for tonights show!
