ReplyDeleteFrom the TV show, this family always agrees with each other. The children never misbehave. The parents never make mistakes. Everything is perfect. Can the Duggars tell me how they are such perfect people and does God intend for all of us to be as perfect as they are? Should we all be striving to be Duggars?

DeleteThough God's plans for the Duggars may differ than His plans for your family and mine, ultimately His will is for us to know, love, and serve Him in this life. So that we can spend our eternity in Heaven with Him forever. That's when everything will be perfect. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm sure they would tell you that they are not perfect. No one and no family is perfect. They put God first above everything else. To this world today, a family who actually loves and respects one another seems odd and fake. But there are many families who are very happy with each other and very loved. The Duggars are a great example on how to live a God honoring life, and how to raise children in a happy and healthy environment. God bless them.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure if ultrasound scans are good for the baby. It certainly only in rare casses necessary. I heard scaning can cause a higher risk in loosing your baby during early pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting for them! I just gave birth to a baby boy myself on October 22nd. It is such a joy! Jill will be a great mom, she has tons of experience with babies already! :)

If it's even possible, would love to see them have their own TLC show for a time, or better yet on a Christian network, but only if they can avoid the pitfalls so common to other reality show personalities. They are a breath of fresh air to watch.

ReplyDeleteJust like in regular families, everyone is on best behavior when company (ie the crew) come over. They are not always perfect and have said so several times themselves.

ReplyDeleteThe Duggars have stated time and time again how they are far from perfect. The children do in fact misbehave sometimes like all children and they have shown that quite a few times on the show. For example, on a recent episode they said Michelle lovingly correcting Josie. God doesn't intend for all of us to be perfect as that's impossible. He just intends us to follow Him and His law. God only wants us to be ourselves and no one else including the Duggars although they are wonderful people in my opinion. The family does disagree with each other sometimes, but says it in a nice way. Michelle & Jim Bob did not agree with Josh & Anna's decision to move to Washington D.C. yet they supported them.

ReplyDeleteI love this show and this family. There is a petition to take them off TLC by Gay Lesbian Group. Please don't. There are such few programs to watch that are clean and I would be heartbroken.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they picked a name already. I would not expect any modern names, most probably they'll go with traditional names. Richard, for Derick's father. Maybe Richard James, to respect both fathers. And the how they are going to call this baby - Rick, or maybe just Dilly?
