ReplyDeleteI don't mean this as snarky as it will no doubt sound. But..... Why bother with a college visit, they don't allow their kids to attend college. Why show them something they are not allowed to do??? Kind of pointless, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that Michelle keeps up her energy and positive attitude so wonderfully through all these years , she is truly amazing. You would think after the first 8 or 10 kids her energy would just drop but her 19 child gets a such if not more attention and wonderful trips as the first. She is so into perfect field trip ideas for her little ones so they can learn hands on its wonderful. Your a great woman with great kids ( u too Jim bob)

If the Duggars like historical places they need to visit new bern nc, its the birthplace of pepsi cola, there is the tryon palace which is a go eners palace that was visited by george Washington,then fort macon nc has great places as well. Jusyt a thought if they ever need a place to visit with the civil war and tryon palace since american revolution war.

ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't think they'd set foot anywhere near a place with the word "College" in it. I agree all the new pictures are odd ... all different lighting ... but I'm glad to see updated photos. I hope it's true that Josiah will attend this college. Nice to see him on this excursion!

anon #3: just curious, do you know what josiah will be majoring in?
ReplyDeleteUmmm a couple of the older girls attended college. In fact in one episode on her birthday Jill tells mom and dad she got a speeding ticket the night before on the way home from a college class and you need college classes as well as hands on training to be a midwife and adulla(spellimg?)

ReplyDeleteAlot of people simply visit the College of the Ozarks because of how unique it is, not necessarily because one of their children in interested in attending there, so that might be why the Duggars actually went there. Anonymous 3, can you share what reliable source you are talking about when you say Josiah Duggar will be attending there in the fall?

ReplyDeleteWhat college did she attend? Was she attending classes with a sibling at the time? She was buddy fro John David and the fire department and Jana was buddy for her for midwife/doula. Would the Duggars let one go to a college by themselves away from home, that would be wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI.am new here and dont understand why so many of you say these kids cant go to college? Why in the world would parents not want their kids to go to college?? This is America! Thex should be so thankful for that opportunity
ReplyDeleteAre any of the kids old to attend college yet? Will they get scholarships for good grades? That is alot oe kids to put through college...just wondering what the parents plan is. Hopefully scholarships and i bet the kids will all work part time jobs to help out with the expenses?....because there are so many kids?
