"19 Kids and Counting" Season Finale

Tonight on the season finale of 19 Kids and Counting, TLC will air a preview of Jessa Duggar's wedding. Also on tonight's episode, Amy Duggar gives viewers an update on her music career. Tune in at 9pm ET PT/8pm CT.

Nov 25, 9:00pm ET

Amy's Nashville Dreams

Cousin Amy returns for a new special as she continues to pursue her music career. Amy performs on a sold out showboat dinner cruise and then celebrates her 28th birthday with her Duggar cousins. Plus, get a behind-the-scenes look at her new music video. And get a first look at Jessa's wedding.

Amy Duggar has been on the show since the beginning. In this flashback video, watch Amy, Grandma Duggar, and Jinger celebrate the birth of Jordyn Duggar back in December 2008. It's hard to believe that was six years ago!

  1. Please-This isn't meant to be negative. but I haven't watched all season, with marriages, pregnancies, ect. with the family only to have the end about Amy. TLC has dropped the ball again and I'm not watching I'll see Jessas pictures in the magazines

    1. I absolutely agree.
There is SO much more they could have done. John-David is a pilot, Jessa's wedding prep, Jill is expectimg .
      But we get Amy.
Did TLC look at the raitings for the last Amy special!?
      Down the tubes.
Or because of the recent controversy are they trying to market her?

  4. I concur with comment one. My family cannot believe that the season finale is about Amy. I wish Amy luck, but the last show they had about Amy did not show a woman mature, motivated, musically educated enough to be a "star". Look at all the music training Erin Bates had to succeed in her career, and look at her mature way of dealing with people. There is a lot of hard work, an even temperament, people skills, learning and preparation that one needs to put into a successful music career. Having a good voice and a name and a wish is not all one needs. If TLC could put in a little footage of the wedding, they could have put in more. Jessa's wedding or the Wedding preparations or dress shopping, could have been the finale.bwe haven't seen much of the younger Duggars and that could have been good too. Very Disappointing indeed.

  5. @AnonymousI was thinking the same myself. Would have liked it to be about the family!

  6. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of eight children and many extended families. We all have gained many wonderful ideas and values from watching your show. I'm always quoting things like"if you don't teach your children to serve, it will ruin thier lives". Thank you so much for putting yourselves out there as an example of a wonderful Christian family. TLC will be making a big mistake, if they cancel your show. I KNOW FOR ONE , NO MORE TLC!!!

    1. I'm curious as to what you find offenaive about Amy. The Duggars include her in so much that they do including travel. If there was something terribly wrong with her character she certainly would not be spending so much time with the kids. I find her to be a beautiful and energetic young lady with a passion for her singing. The Duggars, including Anna, call upon her for help with many projects. I don't understand the mean spirited and insulting comments about her. I hope that Amy and Grandma Duggar don't read these things as they would be very hurt. If I'm way off base here, please correct me. Thanks

  7. Lily and Ellie, will you please send off all the positive comments to TLC, it couldn't hurt any. Thanks O:-)

  8. We love love the Duggars, but Amy is not someone we want our children to be like in any way. We won't watch anything with her in it, unless the Duggar family is the complete focus. Any show with her as the focus we delete off DVR because she just isn't the influence we want for our children. If she wasn't related to them I bet they would do the same and am sure they understand.

    1. I don't understand. Amy is a lovely young lady. She happy and energetic. The Duggar kids love being with her. Family or not, if there was anything inappropriate about her she wouldn't be with those kids. Amy is a Christian girl with a true love of people. If I'm wrong, please help me to understand. Thanks

  10. I really do not watch the Duggars for Amy. I also decided not to watch. Why not stories about the boys videos?

  11. I am trying to watch it now-what was TLC thinking? It's all about Amy who says she doesn't want to trade in the Duggar name-well use your fathers last name then. This is the worst Duggar episdde ever-I wanted the Duggar family , perhaps a thanksgiving finale-I am so terribly disappointed

  12. I used to find Amy kind of annoying, but I think that might have been due to the way TLC spins her as "crazy cousin Amy." For ex., when she made her announcement to the family, the older kids looked at her like she was nuts. She is starting to grow in me, and there's no doubt she has a true talent for singing. Nice that TLC finally showcased her part in Jill's wedding instead of making it look like she wasn't a part of it! (Sort of like they edited Jana out of Josh and Anna's road trip for some reason.) I wish her all the best, and I really like that she brings out a lovely side of Mary Duggar.

  13. I hope Amy succeeds in her endeavors. I also hope she ignores the negative nellies out there. I would only suggest that Amy learn her songs well, arrive prepared!

  14. Have we heard anymore information about Jessa honeymoon destination or where they are going to live? Just wondering:-D

  15. I hope next season will not be entirely Jesssas wedding planning. That got to be a little long. If you didn't look at the photo above you would forget there were sons!

  16. I am the biggest Duggar fan out there and last night was a terrible way to end the season. Sorry TLC, I find Amy specials hard to watch. With so much going on with the Duggars you could of ended the season in such a better way.

  17. What did Jana have to do with the road trip that Josh and Anna took? What am I missing?

  18. My mom and I are proud of cousin Amy. We wish her all the best. We love your voice. You made not just your mom cry at your show. But,my mom as well. Keep up the great work. You're beautiful inside and out.

  19. Wait! Jana went on the road trip?

  20. I didn't like how they edited Jana out of Josh and Anna's road trip, either. I also agree that the best part of these "Amy finales" is getting to know Mary "Grandma" Duggar. I think that TLC is testing their viewers to see if they can profit from an "Amy" spin-off. I hope they can see that there's very little interest in that. A better spin-off would be "4 Grand-Duggars and counting"..featuring the Josh and Anna, Jill and Derrick, and Jessa and Ben..along with their growing families.

  21. Jana met up with them later on the trip, she wasnt on the RV with them the whole time. The show wasnt about her anyway and also Jana is very private and shy.People need to fact check before speculating. It is what is is,TLC has there reasons for doing things and editing a certain way as well as the family.Theres nothing sneaky goin on, jeeze people, its no big deal.

    1. Agreed. Everyone acts like they're entitled to receive 19 Kids and Counting "just so." Be grateful you get to see the show at all. Maybe it was a time of year the Duggars asked to be camera free to have a BREAK. Everyone needs a time of refreshing. Maybe Amy is their "fill," material. And man... What expectations y'all have about how mature and perfected Amy should be at her age... Try not to be so critical and inconsiderate of others feelings. Just because Amy isn't sitting before you as you bash her doesn't make it right to say the things you're saying. Have some compassion and stop acting so spoiled.

  22. My husband and I were very disappointed by the season finale. So glad we had it on DVR because we ended up fast forwarding the whole episode. We do not watch the show because of cousin Amy. If next season is as bad as this one, we won't be Duggar fans for very long.

  23. How does Anonymous 25 know that Jana met up with them later? Is this speculation too? If Jana isn't allowed to travel alone, how did she do that? We need to officially hear from Jana herself as to what went down there. That will settle the matter. If there was deception in that episode, they should own up to it and admit it. Being truthful is Godly, after all and this family claims to be that. Thanks
Also, so JD is an OPERATOR of Duggar Towing? Who is the actual owner of the business? I bet it's Jim Bob, as he owns everything including Duggar Aviation LLC. His boys own nothing IMO. We need to hear fro them on that one too.
Why was it 'ok' for Michelle to earn a real estate license and assist JB in those early real estate acquisitions,, but it's not "ok" for any of their daughters to officially work or become anything? They are only allowed to dabble in interests and they aren't allowed to work. Someone who knows, please respond to these inquiries and end speculation. thank you.

  24. @Anonymous

    Hi Anonymous 18,

Jessa and Ben haven't announced their honeymoon location, but when/if they do, we will post the details.

    Blessings,
    Lily and Ellie

  25. Anonymous 30, you said "Why was it 'ok' for Michelle to earn a real estate license and assist JB in those early real estate acquisitions,, but it's not "ok" for any of their daughters to officially work or become anything?"
That is not true, because the duggar daughters are allowed to work and educate themselves. Look at Jill who is a midwife, and Jana is a doula.
