We have more photos to share! Jill and Derick's private wedding photographs were taken by Elizabeth Zellon, the same photographer who captured the weddings of Priscilla Keller and David Waller, Chad Paine and Erin Bates, and Zach Bates and Whitney Perkins. Elizabeth is headed down to Arkansas this weekend to shoot Jessa and Ben's wedding. Click here to visit her website.

Wow, beautiful pictures!!! Good job Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures and I watched the wedding last night. I teared up! They are obviously in love and both dedicated to the Lord. Good luck and God Bless to them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics!! Lovely family :)
ReplyDeleteI thought the gown was very pretty, but that is not what I think of as being vintage. I had always thought that meant it was an old wedding gown, perhaps from a mother or grandmother, or one that had been obtained through a resale shop, or perhaps a flea market. Or one designed to look like an old style.
ReplyDeleteThey broke tradition by not waiting to see each other before the wedding...interesting thing....
As much as it's tradition, it's also superstition. My husband and I did first look photos, but saved our first kiss for the altar. It was so special to have those few moments (mostly) by ourselves to soak it all in. We also wanted to consider our guests and not keep them waiting an hour or more between the ceremony and the reception. Also, it was great to have so much time to just have fun taking pics. Even though we saw each other before the ceremony it was still an exhilarating moment to walk down the aisle and see my husband tear up :-)
DeleteThose pictures are great, so many new ones we havent seen. Thankyou:-) Oh, what is the history behind her beautiful necklace? Would love to know more about it.
ReplyDeletethe picture of Her fixing His boutineer made me cry. His face shows the love he has for her. So beautiful. I found it cute/ comical/ interesting/ sweet how much Derrick sounds like Jim Bob when he talks and laughs. I chuckled a few times when hearing it...... I also love how much he puts Jesus first. You can tell he is a man of God and not just "putting on an act." Praise God!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bride and party. Handsome guys! Congrats
ReplyDeletethose are nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteWow! Fabulous photos! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, she looks amazing! Such a great choice of colors! Jill looks gorgeous!! And I'm so exited about the baby boy! Can't wait for the name announcement :)
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what Jessa is planning for her wedding on Saturday? Will it be similar? Will it appear on the show?
These are very nice photos! Good job to EZ Photography!!! .......though Joseph Duggar doesn't look like he's enjoying the photo shoot as much as the other guys...but some guys just don't like their picture being taken (....like my brother), and Jo's probably one of them..? My favourite shot of the whole wedding party is the one where all of them are looking at Jill and Derrick and some of the guys are kneeling.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!!! God Bless you both on your marriage and a life forever together! <3 <3
ReplyDeletePlease Lily and Ellie-Everything is lovely however the wedding is over and we are saturated. Jessa is getting married in three days , could she not have some time devoted to her in her happy time. Couldn't we let her know we are also happy for her?
ReplyDeleteLove them all
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Perfect! Praying Derricks Mother is feeling well by now and ready to enjoy her new little grandson when he arrives. May God continue to bless and use this beautiful family to further His Kingdom and Glorify His Name.
ReplyDeleteI cant even imagine all the comments that you gals have to weed through, you ladies have a big job and it takes time.Im waiting patiently, I hope everyone else is too:-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful set of their wedding pictures, I could have used this very shortly after the real wedding day to calm my super excited nerves, but none the less I'm completely gratified and grateful now!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Bless. <3
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!! Laughed so hard at the one where the guys are holding Derick across them like a prize catch fish :D
ReplyDeletePictures of the wedding that never ends.
ReplyDeleteIn love with that bouquet! Beautiful, elegant and simple! Thanks for sharing the photos!
ReplyDeleteWho's cute dog is that in the pic with Derick and the guys?
ReplyDeleteWhat is with the 3rd last picture with the dog? Why is Josh's head floating behind the other guys, he has no legs!
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect, and in agreement with comments #13 and #20. When we could have used seeing some of the wedding pics shortly after the fact, we're getting overwhelmed and I feel it's time to move forward. A little goes a long way. I love their story, they looked wonderful, and it's great that they have all these pictures to remember their event, but for those of us who were not there, we don't need to see everything. I blame this on TLC, and not trying to be harsh towards the bloggers. I know you guys had to hold back because of contractual agreements they have towards TLC. So I'm sure that you wanted to show as much as you can to compensate on the length of time you guys had to keep this stuff off the blog and how much we, as fans of the show, anticipated watching the event..however, there is a time for everything, and too much of the wedding is that...too much. It's sweeter to have "less" and when we wish to see the pics, a few really is enough.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is NOT repeated for Jessa, or any other future Duggar marriage.
Beautiful pictures!! Jill and Derick really show the love they have for each other, may you have many years of happiness.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL WHAT A WONDERFUL OCCASION MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress and bridesmaids dresses!
ReplyDeleteDo you know the reason why they chose to see each other before the ceremony? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of one of the sweetest couples ever. I watched the wedding episode (twice!) and had to laugh at myself because I really felt like an invited guest! I loved being a part of it from afar :) Jill's dress was gorgeous, and Jana did a fantastic job on the bridesmaids' dresses. (Bet she was glad to have that job over!) I hope we get to see a better photo of Michelle's dress. It looked really pretty on her, and it's nice to see her take time to spiff up a bit.
ReplyDeleteHey I've just re-watched the wedding video, I REALLY LOVE IT, and I did cry when Derick's Mother was able to go to the wedding!!! I hope TLC knows I approve, I know, now they can rest easy eh, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEither I do not recognize him, or I did not see Josiah in any of the wedding episode. Where is he? He is definitely a favorite of mine. I think I recall he went to ALERT training back in July, but I thought that would be over by now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Wedding! I really enjoyed watching it on TLC this week.. God Bless you Derrick and Jill! Congrats on your upcoming new family member too! :)

Nice pics - do you happen to have any of Michelle's dress? I caught a few glipses of it - but wondering if anyone has a view of the whole thing. Looks like a real nice dress.
ReplyDeleteWow amazing wedding pictures of when the groom saw the bride for the first time in a private moment before the ceramony and the bride with the bridesmaides and groom with the groomsmen. Elizabeth did a fantastic job on all of these photographs. They look amazing. What a happy bride and groom.
ReplyDeleteLoved these .. and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THEM ... makes me all the more excited for Jessa !
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame all the Dugger men and boys had their pockets stuffed with wallets and cell phones. Can they not leave technology behind for an hour or so? It really spoilt the photos.
ReplyDeleteI love hearing n seeing all about your family. congratulations on all your weddings n Jill n Derrick congratulations on your baby Good Luck to you !

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 29,
Jill and Derick decided they wanted to spend as much of their wedding day together as possible. After spending the morning together, they parted ways to put their wedding clothes on and then met up again for the first look.

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 32,
Josiah played an integral part in both Jill and Jessa's weddings. He has been away at ALERT but came home for both events.
