Looking for words of encouragement this weekend? We have more pictures to share of the Bible verses, motivational quotes, and song lyrics that Michelle Duggar has posted around her house. (Click here for a better view of the Duggars' Family Rules plaque.)

Thank you!!! This is something I have done around our house since watching the show. I've always wanted a close-up of some of these! :)
ReplyDeletePlease, go to the October blog post called 'Upcoming Duggar Appearance' and read my recommendation of the book, 'Growing Up Duggar'...
ReplyDeleteI love this family cause they don't just put forth rules but they really live what they say! Very refreshing!
ReplyDeleteHere's a good 1...Know GOD= Know happiness...No God= No happinesss
ReplyDeleteputting up verses around the house is ok but I need to see more of that in their show? their show lately has been about Jill and she is a nice young lady but she needs to stop going and talking over her husband. And this show is not all about JIll JIll JIll. they show is becoming boring. HOw about showing them doing some minstry work? somewhere besides central america. when they went on the trip around the world I did not see them do any mission work at all. I think the message of the gosepl is suppose to be preached on the show I do not think I have seen that in a long time.
ReplyDeleteWonderful love these all such an encouragement
ReplyDeleteIf you can learn to get along with that many siblings, you can get along with anyone!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where the bible timeline posters come from that they have up in the hall?
ReplyDeleteId really like to get my husband one for Christmas.
Did you ever find out?

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 12,
Sure thing. The 8 Cardinal Virtues are:
1. Be clean inside and out
2. Who neither looks up to the rich or down on the poor
3. Who loses, if need be, without squealing
4. Who wins without bragging
5. Who is always considerate of women, children and old people
6. Who is too brave to lie
7. Who is too generous to cheat
8. Who takes his share of the world and lets others have theirs
(George Washington Carver)

Im sure TLC wont let them broadcast too much about their faith because they want to appeal to a wider audience. I really enjoyed the show about Jill. She is a lovely girl.
