In the following video, Jill and Derick Dillard share their elation at finding out their baby's gender.

ReplyDeleteI do wish Jill and Derick well with their son to be and I understand first time parental excitement, but are those sonogram photos ON THE WALL of their house? I think they that maybe they are just waaaaayyyyyy to into this thing. What are they going to do with subsequent children? A wall of sonogram photos for all of the etc? What about the children they claim they wish to adopt? No sonogram photos for them....I think they need to get real about this event, as they aren't the only people waiting to deliver on or about March 24, 2015...too much already.

ReplyDeleteIt is a great announcement, it would have been equally great, in my opinion, had it been a girl being announced. Now they will be able to proceed with all their preparations in the gender appropriate styling. How happy they must be. It was detracting though, even disturbing to me, that Jill placed an emphasis on being contentious about tale bearing on Derick, I understand she was doing this as good humor; however I recommend she re-read her own book on relationships.

ReplyDeleteI believe they filmed this while still at the ultrasound studio. This is probably the same studio Anna went to when she was pregnant with Michael.

ReplyDeleteThis was a special moment and announcement so why finger wagging (which is not very often apt in situations) ? The finger wagging and fault finding here also raise the question, if this is what it is like to make a joke at the best of times, what is it going to be like some other times?
ReplyDeleteOh people.....too many negative comments. I loved that they shared the news with the world. Anonymous #2 ....I don't think they are sonogram pictures. They might even be telling us the news from the doctors office :) I wonder if they are not showing Jill's pregnancy pictures until after Jessa's wedding.....we'll see how Jill is glowing in those pictures.....Both Jill and Jessa glowing for two different reasons. It's great that are showing a lot of Jill and I, too, would like to see what's up with the other Duggars.

ReplyDeleteI think this was filmed at the place they got the sonogram. Those sonogram pictures look like they are from babies already in the third trimester, not Jill and Dericks. Let's try to refrain from being so judgmental on their every move. Even if it were her baby...it's her house, her exciting and her choice. Peace and love to everyone!

ReplyDeleteThat would make more sense. The precious baby Picts on the wall look more mature in development than 17 weeks. I think their baby's face would be smaller.
Yay for them so excited, but I agree can we hear more about Jessa and Ben I mean their wedding is coming up real soon. Also everyone stop with the harsh comments, its their choice to find out the sex of the baby, honestly I think it makes it more exciting knowing what your having.
ReplyDeleteJessa probably will be making her pregnancy announcement soon after Xmas...I'm curious though how Jessa feels about her sister getting to live in this mansion, while she and Ben would not have similar housing. Also, Ben does not hae a job as Derick does; he does not have education that Derick does. So, I'm very curious how Jessa feels now - at the beginning of her courtship she was the first sister to start a courtship, but now she is in JIll's shadow completely.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know who is handling Jill's prenatal care? Is she going to an ob/gyn physician at all? Is she using her midwife/friend to handle it? What is there is an emergency with her delivery, is there a back up physician ready to assume the job? I hope all goes well, of course. Derick has medical insurance, so cost isn't much of a concern here as they also have money themselves.
ReplyDeleteJill transformed completely after she got married, she became very self-confident. And she looks so great (not like she did not look great before), but now she looks amazing. Maybe she is using more makeup, but I think mainly it's a sign of happiness.
