ReplyDeleteThese people should have some interviews where they actually talk about their thoughts and views on life in general. Courting, wedding, baby nice but who are they and can we get to know them, what do they want to say about themselves and other topics besides all the 'family' stuff.

DeleteJill I hate to tell you, but your probably right on having a big baby... My husband and I were 9 pounders and I just had a 12 lb 6 oz boy!! (No gestational diabetes either. ) So get ready! I'm punching in anonymous but the 12 lbs 6 oz is a dead give away to my friends who this is :-)

The surprise was the gender reveal of Jill and Derick's baby. They are having a boy. :)

For the person wondering, Monica Potter is an actress. She is currently in the show Parenthood. She was also in the movie Patch Adams. She's really talented, check her out if you get the chance. :)
ReplyDeleteJessa, when Ben and you are discussing a subject, why does it sound like you have the right answer and not Ben? I noticed that you come back to the conversation after Ben blushes with a statement indicating, were both right. Ben does blush when you correct him. I think Ben has some good points. I don't think he has helped raised kids has you have (don't know). I think you need to allow Ben to spread his wings and be will be a fine dad. Parenting is not easy and sometimes we stumble along the way. I think you should listen and support his idea's, review the tapes, talk to you dad and mom about ways to discuss a subject without making the other person look or feeling bad (not sure if these are the right words). Ben loves you so much, he beams. Wish you all the best! PJ

ReplyDeleteThis season was all about Jill and Jessa. Jill's courtship and wedding plans made for an interesting season. We've all now seen that...Are we in for another season of the same storyline except substituting Jessa for Jill? Hope not. P-l-e-a-s-e let us see more of Jana. She is so sweet and giving of herself to her family. As you know the fans would really like to know more about her and what her plans are for life. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI am sure they will monitor the baby size as she comes closer to her due date. My daughter was to be 10lbs and 24inches and came in above term weight as a premature delivery. She was still 21 inches long six weeks early. I am about the same size as Jill but the runt of the family having 6'4" and 6'7" brothers. Her father was much larger boned then Derick too but had the height. At least winter is upon us so the swelling may not be as difficult due to heat.
As long as her pelvis can expand she will be fine. In my case I ended up having a C-Section but sure gave it a good effort before signs of stress presented.

I love the Duggers! I have two young daughters that love them too. And what a wonderful example they are to us all. God has blessed their family and it is awesome!!!! Congratulations to Jill and Derick, we are sooooo happy for you!!!

ReplyDelete@AnonymousI agree completely with Anonymous 18. Jill and Jessa are great gals but I think Jana is a beautiful human being, so thoughtful and considerate of her family. I was so impressed at how she was willing to make all of those bridesmaid dresses. It's tough to please so many ladies but she did a super job. There must be a story line that could be incorporated to highlight Jana. We love Jana!!!

I have enjoyed watching this season about Jill and Jessa courtships/ wedding prep. Jana seems like a really sweet gal and she may prefer to not be in the limelight anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't Jill wear shoes to that TV interview. She had summer sandals with a nice dress on. It's chilly in NY in late October. When will these girls learn to wear adult shoes like some high heel pumps and nylon stockings? It's not a picky criticism here, it's a pattern of being inappropriately dressed for their ages, the occasion and the weather.
