ReplyDeleteJinger is truly a gifted photographer. I hope that her parents will hire her a professional photographer for her own wedding in the future. It would be a nice way to thank her for all of the great photography she's done over the years and for the amount of money she will be saving her siblings and parents with all of the photos. I'd love to see more of Jinger's work here!

ReplyDeleteI wish Jim Bob and Michelle encouraged their children's talents. It saddens me that they only consider Jinger's passion for photography to be a "hobby" (as quoted by Michelle in the video clip that was posted of Jill and Derick's photoshoot) when in reality she should be encouraged in every way possible to pursue it (if she wants). Jinger could certainly do well for herself and her future by pursuing a career in photography, if only she wasn't so sheltered and led to believe that having a career is not a woman's place in life.

DeleteJinger did a wonderful job on the photos. She has had the advantage of exposure to professionals over the years and clearly she apprenticed herself! Well done! With all of those brothers and sisters she will have quite a portfolio before long!
ReplyDelete@AnonymousVery true. It seems like only the boys are allowed to seriously consider doing anything outside of the home. Jinger has the ability to potentially have a real career, even if she only does it part-time once she's married. I wish someone locally would consider taking her under their wing, but I know that Mom and Pop are too committed to molding their female children into wives and mothers. There is nothing wrong with those choices, but only if you realize that there are other options.
