Jessa's ring has a knife-edged shank. I hope she finds it comfortable and it doesn't dig into her other fingers. Also 18K gold isn't as "hard" or durable as 14K it knicks and bends easier. Hope she stays happy with it every day.

ReplyDeleteHer ring looks prettier than her sister, Jill's. Where did Ben get that ring? Hey is Jessa going to pursue her dream and just have ice cream and no cake or cupcakes? Because she said in tonight's episode when cake taste testing with Jill and Derick that she wanted no cake, just ice cream, and she wasn't even engaged yet when she said that. Is it true or not? Please post an answer before the wedding, because fans like me want to know if it's true or not.

ReplyDeleteI have a peal ring in a similar setting, but it isn't very comfortable. I hope if that is the case with Jessa that she changes it...or maybe it came as a wedding set and will feel better after it is "complete".
ReplyDeleteJessa--be careful with the 18 caret--it bends easily so don't get it caught on anything--I had an 18 caret wedding band and ended up having to go back and get 14 caret because I am a nurse and when I would get it caught making beds, etc, it would bend--otherwise it is beautiful

I had the exact ring, it lasted about a year and I had the change the setting.It kept digging in and was painful, not to mention it bent out of shape constantly.I hope she has better luck with hers.It is a delicate looking ring ,thats why its so pretty, just like her.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure a stone set on an angle like Jessa's has a matching wedding band to accommodate the angle. It'll look nice when worn together. Does Ben's have any diamonds in it? Will Jessa buy his ring? Or will her daddy buy it for her?
