Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have officially announced their wedding date. The two will recite their vows in front of family and friends on Saturday, November 1st.
Their wedding is less than eight weeks away, and the future Mr. and Mrs. Seewald say they have already finished most of the planning.
"When you're planning a wedding, you can make it complicated, or make it simple, and we are trying to make ours simple," Ben told PEOPLE. "There are some things that have to be done right before the wedding, but for the most part, we're ready."
One of the most time-consuming parts of planning a Duggar wedding is choosing the wedding party and finding outfits for everyone to wear.
"We have the bridal party picked, and the colors are done," Jessa told PEOPLE. "The bridesmaids dresses are selected."
Considering they have only been engaged for just over three weeks, that is quite impressive! Jessa is also happy to report that she recently went wedding dress shopping and fell in love with the second gown she tried on.In the evenings, Jessa works on wedding planning while Ben, a college sophomore studying political science, completes online school assignments.
Jessa and her fiancé, who recently moved in with the Duggars and spends his days doing odd jobs for Jim Bob and Michelle, have also made a point to exercise together.
"We do a lot of weight lifting and cardio together, trying to stay fit," Ben told PEOPLE. "Some of the other kids, like Joy and Jason, sometimes join in. We have a little workout club going."
It's crazy to think that-Lord willing-Jessa will be pregnant by Christmas!!! =D I am loving Mr. and Mrs. Duggar's new season of life!
ReplyDeleteI have no problem if she is but remember most women don't get pregnant the first month, and when we say things like this it can make it even harder on a woman if it does take her longer to conceive God will bless them in the best time
DeleteAll in God's timing!!! Birth control or prior use can mess up a woman's cycle, but they won't have to worry about that,...all in God's timing! I got pregnant my second month. A friend of mine got pregnant after 3 years, another friend 9 years, another friend 11 years! We are not in control of our fertility or infertility. All in God's timing and His plan!!!

In the same church as Jill and Derick or will it be an outdoor autumn wedding if the weather in early November is nice in Arkansas? What color are bridesmaid's dresses? I have six and I love every one. It is so sad that people feel good being mean to their family. If you don't like them - why do you watch their facebook page? Go find something else to do! You have a choice. Saying mean things only makes you look bad, not them. Their fans will love them forever!!! Me included! God Bless the Duggars!!!! Every one!!

ReplyDeletePlease help!! I am missing something.... Why is it ok for Ben not to have a real job or anything else the Duggars look for in a future husband. I understand why Derik didn't. He was gone for years reaching lost souls for Christ, and his mom has been really sick. My goal isn't for ppl to start being mean to him. I just want to understand it. From what it looks like on TV Jessa is making a huge mistake. I pray I am wrong!!!!!!
