The wait is over! New episodes of 19 Kids and Counting begin tonight. Tune in to TLC at 9PM ET PT/8PM CT for 19 Kids and Counting "Duggars & Mothers," an hour-long premiere in which Jill and her family start planning for her Duggar-sized wedding. realize what giving away Jill will mean for their close-knit clan.Also this season, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald continue to grow closer, as their courtship takes an unexpected turn when Ben makes a move to live closer to Jessa. Jim Bob and Michelle celebrate 30 years of marriage as Jill and Derick prepare their new home together with the help of the family. This season, TLC's 19 Kids and Counting will celebrate its 150th episode. Including the five original specials and seasons of 17 Kids and Counting and 18 Kids and Counting, the Duggars have starred in more than 200 episodes.

ReplyDeleteI understand that extended family relatives can be large, but how do you have 1,000 CLOSE FRIENDS? It seems that a close friend would be a much smaller number of people whom you know intimately and they you...An acquaintance isn't a close friend.
ReplyDeleteAs Jill explained, they know alot of families that have alot of kids, so therefore it adds up, makes sense.
DeleteThey belong to.more than one church plus the homeschooling network, most of them have over 8 kids per family. They probably don't have to know as many adults when they have so many kids.

DeleteI live in Australia and unless you have Pay TV, we don't get to see this show on free to air TV. Thank goodness for this site where I can get my Duggar fix, even if its not full episodes :)

In part I wish it was a weekly show year round but then again distance does make the heart grow fonder..... they keep me coming back. Love the morals, love the kindness, love the gentleness. Our family doesn't watch tv other than dvd's because we got rid of our cable. There is way too much junk on television these days and we find ourselves doing more as a family now. How about posting some more family-survival tips? (ie: organization, education, discipline, clean-up, finances, etc.) I really miss those, and could really use some new ideas. There's just been so much blogging about courtship and marriage, that some of us could really use a nice break from these subjects.

Now y'all see why its important to wait and find out the facts before yu judge or speculate about things.Im referring to the house Jill and Derick live in.So many were freaking out about it and it ended up being a temporary sweet jesture from Mom.and pop Duggar to let them stay there rent free till they sell it....lessened learned to the critics, I hope.

I was disappointed that they wasted the first ten minutes on old footage from last year. We already knew all of that stuff. They should have just gotten right to it. Also, being September, I really don't care about Mother's Day. That was a long time ago. TLC needs to step up with it's air time with this series. Just filled with old news.

ReplyDeleteWhat a house!! I think Josh and Anna were looking displeased that they got that small 2-bedroom house, while Jill was getting a 3-story mansion. Of course, it is temporary, but so nice to start their life worry free in a huge house like this! Yes, they did not have this house when Josh/Anna were getting married, but JB could offer them to move there in 2012, when they already had 2 kids...

God love this family, He has blessed it so. Michelle indeed looks really trim these days. Amazing woman...after so many children...It's interesting to watch how this family goes through the changes from having all young kids, as the episodes of 10 years ago, and now watching how they prepare their older ones for marriage. While it may be true that so much attention has been on the courtship and engagements, they serve as examples to the rest of the world that first comes love, then comes marriage and then the baby carriage...they are doing it the right way!

ReplyDeleteI don't think that a 10 minute "recap" was necessary at the start of the episode. It just wasted time. Just get on with it and move along, as this is already really old news and happenings. Mother's Day was a long time ago.

I so loved how Derick was involved in the wedding plans. Even if he wanted something silly, it was adorable! When Josh and Anna were getting married,he and Jim Bob came across like it was only a day for the "Bride". Josh only cared about the wedding night. Derick seems sincere in wanting to be apart of the big day, not just the big night. Makes that Derick even more lovable! #lovingDerickandJill
