I was wondering if you knew or could ask the Duggar girls where they get the layering shirts/tanks that I see them wear so often underneath their tops. Those really help to make outfits modest while still being cute. I have searched for them several times but have not been able to find them with a high enough neckline etc...
It would also help to know where they get the black leggings like the ones Joy is wearing in the third photo. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

DeleteThe house they are living in is one of Jim Bob's rental properties. it was shown on the episode puppies,properties,& patients on that episode shown a few years ago ..but today on a rerun episode they showed That house when the family wen to clean it up cuz it was trashed with junk and broken glass And missing electrical stuff.. but you can tell its the same home cuz of the woodwork and the kitchen is what they showed in that's past episode.. so either Jim Bob is renting out that home to them or they are gonna buy it from him. on the new season they will for sure show a flashback to when they went to that home to clean it up.

"Née" = French feminine for born = maiden name not married name. Jill Dillard, née Duggar.

I think that Jill and Derick's house is that really nice house that got really trashed out a few years back and the family has been cleaning it up and repairing it.

ReplyDeleteI just want to say that in the interest of trying to be more like a Duggar and more like a follower of Jesus (as a comment pointed out should be the real goal) I was trying to read my Bible. I picked the book of James because it is not too long and can be read within 20 minutes. After reading that I have to say I am aware of the importance of reading the Bible and changing my mind to conform to the word of God and of other important points. One of the top points is to not judge or be critical of others and to be pure in what comes out of my spirit, not both blessing and cursing. I know doing these things will be a challenge for me. I felt blessed after reading the book of James, knowing that wisdom is 'from above' and is 'heavenly', I really felt peace today. Tonight I tried going on another site that has some comments on photos of the Duggars that are often not pure and I remembered the book of James and decided I just could not keep reading snark. I think you have the right idea Lily and Ellie to maintain a website that is supposed to be a pure blessing, thank-you. I know I came to this point partly from my involvement in your site.

Love the picture of Anna and Josh, they still adore each other. Michelle is looking fabulous, she and Jim Bob look so happy. Grandmother Mary is a gentle, joyful gem in the family. The Dillard's new home looks lovely, no surprise to see the family there getting it ready for the newlyweds. ReplyDeleteAnother site answered this. The home is one of Jim Bob's real estates deals, probably a rehab.
The purchaser is listed as the James Robert and Michelle Duggar Family Trust. I believe Josh and Anna's home in DC may under a similar arrangement. Properties sales are public records.
Perhaps the young couples pay rent but the parents make the homes possilbe.
Lilly and Ellie may be alble to confirm or clarify.
Can't wait for the new season to come!!! Sooooooo excited for the Duggars!!!

Also, I saw a rerun today, where the kids were cleaning up a gorgeous house that had been badly vandalized (foreclosure Jim Bob bought) and you could see what a beautiful house it once was, and could be again. Interesting Ben moved closer to the Duggar family. Jim Bob did say there are plenty of windshields to repair closer to their home last season.
Jessa and Ben must be holding hands. Being that close would not be appropriate otherwise with their rules. I do hope they take their time being so young.
I look forward to seeing more of the newlyweds home this season, it does look lovely.
I am sure Jill has been well provided for and savings is why they have such a nice home backing with his good job as an accountant. I would hope her parents helped too as we certainly would for our children.
I have Derick's mother on my mind and in my prayers daily and do wish we could get an update on her condition. My heart goes out to that family. I do respect the fact they deserve privacy though and should not be forced in the public eye.
Look forward to watching the series from this blog since we can not have TLC in an affordable cable package here.

ReplyDeleteI had just seen an older episode this morning of the Duggar family cleaning out a home they had bought to fix up and re-sell. It kinda looks like the room they are cleaning up for Jill and Derrick. Even if it's not the same home,it's a good thing to make the effort to fix up those homes rather than them being demolished. While that's off topic of this particular thread, I just thought it's a good thing to have these homes and either rent them out, sell them, or allow the married children to move in for a starter home.

ReplyDeleteIn the picture with Jill and Derrick they weren't married yet so Lily and Ellie were saying that in the picture it was "Derrick Dillard and Jill Duggar (now Jill Dillard)." That is why it says that instead of Derrick and Jill Dillard (nee Duggar).

If you zoom into the wedding planning photo Jessa is wearing a RING on her left hand!!!! I wonder if it is an ENGAGEMENT ring ?? Or her purity ring? hopefully its the ring everyone and including her has been wanting to see on that finger :)

Lily and Ellie have since changed the caption to read jill duggar, now dillard. We are not trying to be haters, just trying to point out a slight error. A part of being a true friend is that you lovingly point out one another's faults so that you can each learn from your mistakes and grow from it.

ReplyDeletePeople, people!! Okay, Jessa is more than likely wearing a promise ring in the wedding planning picture. Most of the duggar girls do wear promise rings before they are engaged and in the proposal episode, you can clearly see that Jill takes off a promise ring before slipping on the engagement ring. Just thought I'd throw my common sense into the bunch. And also, if Jessa were engaged, we would know it by now. When Jill get engaged, we knew within 2 weeks of the proposal!!
