In this YouTube video, Michelle Duggar and Franicia White, a close friend of the Duggars and a former resident of Saipan, extend a special greeting to the people of Saipan. Saipan is a commonwealth of the United States and is located approximately 3,700 miles west of Hawaii.
Hi Lily and Ellie!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you meant to say something after of, but never got the chance to finish it.
Is this in the Duggar household??? Do they not make their own laundry detergent anymore?? It seems like they are splurging a bit more these days like for clothes for the girls I wonder if they are still sticking to buying used and saving the difference???
ReplyDeleteSeemed kind of lacking in point....I think Michelle could have said more.
ReplyDeleteWhy is this video so incredibly short?
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I never heard of Sapain before. I also say hi to friends in Sapain!
ReplyDelete(Maybe with all the busy activity for Jill's wedding the Duggars some how are using some store bought laundry detergents and clothes softening sheets.)
Lily and Ellie, did you get to meet Miss. Franicia and her family at the wedding? She is so sweet! I am so thankful for her!

ReplyDeleteThat was a sweet greeting from Michelle to Saipan (I had no idea they are a U.S. Commonwealth! - Learn something new every day! :) I love that song "O Great God", very moving.
ReplyDeleteMy heart melted to see this greeting to Saipan.
ReplyDeleteI served three months with the Mission Corps from our church
in Saipan. I love the beautiful, loving, precious people of Saipan.
Jesus loves them so much, and so do I !

ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
We will be able to post wedding photos later this week. :)
~Lily and Ellie
I will say a friend of mine made (makes) her own laundry detergent but uses the old 'store bought' containers to pour from instead of dipping into a 5 gallon buckets . . . . but I'll say, "if you coupon, you can get detergent cheap and especially if you don't stick with just one brand!"
ReplyDelete@Anonymous- They aren't poor anymore, so I don't think it is a financial necessity to buy only thrift store clothes, or be super frugal on laundry detergent. I'm sure they're still frugal in many ways.
ReplyDeleteSaipan is actually one of the islands that make up the Northern Mariana Islands. It's near Guam in the pacific.
ReplyDelete@AnonymousI agree they seem to have an awful lot of material goods these days

ReplyDelete@ everyone who is talking about the laundry detergent - the duggars have to have so,etching to keep their own detergent in. These bottles could just be used to hold their own detergent that they made and please give them a break with the slacking in the money department. They have worked hard to get to the financial status they are at now.
ReplyDeleteAlso about it being in the laundry room that could've been one of the quiet places in their house at the time they do have 19 kids!
