When will new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting return to TLC? Rest assured, the Duggars will be back this fall. The network has been filming throughout the spring and summer, as well as at Jill and Derick's wedding. The premiere date has not be finalized, but we will let you know when it is.
In addition to following Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the 17 Duggar kids still living at home, and newlyweds Derick and Jill Dillard, the crew has also been keeping tabs on Josh and Anna Duggar in Washington D.C.

ReplyDeleteyay!! I was really concerned because I read somewhere that it hasn't been renewed yet, and I wanted to see the wedding! This family has helped me become a better Christian, and I cannot wait for the new season! Also, thank you very much for this blog!

ReplyDeleteThis show gives a balance for evaluation of lifestyles, as well as entertainment, just the same as Sister Wives, the Amish show, and all the other shows that air on TLC. All show a different perspective that we all have our own individual choice to accept or reject with an open mind. God calls each and every one of us to have our own convictions and beliefs. The Duggar show offers a lifestyle to consider.
ReplyDeleteI always think it's so funny when people freak out about the show being "over" or asking "how come they're aren't new episodes is it coming back?" Do these same people freak out when their other shows go on hiatus for the summer? They can't be on all year.

ReplyDeleteSadly, I agree with anonymous 17's comment. The seasons are barely 2 months long, once a week episodes at that and then it's months and months until it picks up again. Those that are aired are long ago events and it's too behind the times.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the Duggars travel to Central America to do ministry work. Do they get paid from churches or any organization for their time and efforts? Probably not. They also state that this TV show, which is an institution that they don't allow in their own home, pays them for being filmed. How is it that since they view this opportunity to "reach out" to the mass public, they accept pay for it? Shouldn't they donate their time and efforts on TV as their witness and ministering works just the same? I see a double standard here, as with many things they do and stand for. JMO, thank you for posting this one.

ReplyDeleteUnequivocally, the Duggars should absolutely be compensated by TLC - they would be like the foolish steward if they did not accept money for their show. They are wisely increasing the talents The Lord has given them.
ReplyDeleteWOW seems like yesterday when Josh was on phone with Anna's father asking for her hand in marrige! 5 years sure has gone by fast. Love to see your family grow over the years! Enjoy watching the children grow up they are getting so big! They are adorable and so kind to each other its delightful to see. God bless you always!
