ReplyDeleteI really think the choice of ring is just so sweetly thoughtful towards Jill, seeing as Jill loves Israel. I'm sure she loves and appreciates it dearly. Michelle called it in an episode before the courtship was official, that Jill would do well with a guy who appreciates her sensitivities and upholds her sentiments -- and Derick sounds like just the guy :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Derick went with his mother to the jewelry store, but it was staged, as expected as a jeweler can't size a ring while you wait. We would like to see less stages stuff and more "as it happens" stuff.
ReplyDeleteSo I believe this video tells us that he got Jill's diamond after only spending the one week with her in Nepal. I think the show clearly stated that he'd gone to Israel after leaving Nepal before coming home. That's extremely romantic !
