On tonight's new episode of 19 Kids and Counting, the Duggars celebrate Josiah's high school graduation with a few friends (only 400...no big deal). Then, the family heads to Washington D.C. to visit Josh and Anna and the grand-Duggars. 19 Kids and Counting "Graduation & A Surprise" starts at 9PM EST/8PM CST and runs 30 minutes (video preview below).

Can't wait to watch tomorrow on Amazon!!!
ReplyDelete400?! That's crazy!!! I thought 150 was big for my graduation! How old was Josiah when he graduated highschool?
ReplyDeleteHoping that someone uploads this episode! ;)
I'm so very excited! I cant wait to hear what Anna's announcement is! My guess is that she is having twins but you never know!
ReplyDeleteI am totally supportive of the homeschool through high school decision. Slightly annoyed so much adults education is only done online. But why oh why is there this community of men doing boot camp military style that has nothing to do with the army, navy, marines, Air Force, coast guard? Adult men need to serve yet the US military isn't considered a safe environment? The dangers in the community colleges and universities and the military are not absent the retreat and Christian military style boot camps they are sending their adult children to.
ReplyDeletebunkbeds, lol

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an announcement. It was just that Josh's family would be a day early.
I think that Josiah's graduation party was nice except for one thing. there were know other people there ,meaning black, Spanish ,Chinese or Italian. do the Duggar family associate with anybody else. just saying.we all are Gods children
ReplyDeleteActually if you really watched the show you would'nt have to ask that! They have friends and other families in their lives of different nationalities & races..

ReplyDeleteAnna doesn't have an announcement. Jim Bob called and she told Josh what he said, that's all.
anna is not having another baby. the duggars are coming early for the hoilday dinner. that has never happened before.
ReplyDeleteThe party was really for Josiah graduating ALERT, not high school It obviously was more politically correct to "rename" the reason for the party. All of those affiliations, at this time, are not flattering to the Duggar family. They should just tell the truth about things there. Absolutely none of the other kids had a party when they "graduated" from grade 12. They were never IN high school, they were homeschooled at the 12th grade level,, (I hope).
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who noticed Anna was concerned that her FIL got what he wanted to eat? Why does his favorites take priority? You can't plan a menu off twenty different peoples favorite foods. But you should not have to be worried about one of them happy with the meal. Unless there is some severe allergy among the group.
ReplyDeleteI love Anna. My favorite Duggar.
Ji hope next week we can see more of the party.Jessa was so cute when she stated that Josiah was on the market. I wonder if anyone else does the same thing I do, I watch the episode two or three times before the next showing, I just can't get enough of this wonderful family.Godspeed to you Duggar family! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am not talking about that suprise. I saw Josh wrote somewhere that they have another announcement and he said "You'll be as excited as we are" So I think they are expecting!
ReplyDeleteI watched the episode with Anna and dinner. How is it possible for a 25lb turkey to have been cooked when the doorbell rang? I have prepared 20+ Thanksgiving dinners in my time, and I have Never had a turkey of 12lbs cook in under 4hours. It was always a fresh, not frozen turkey. Miracle of TV?
ReplyDeleteWhen I host people I often prepare a dish special for one person. It is called being polite. It seems that no matter what this family does they are criticized. People have to nit pick everything that is said The show is edited people. We don't know if she mentioned another person or not.
ReplyDeleteShe rattled three items off her menu that were to please her FIL. Not I have to make my special rolls cause x loves them. She was actually initially planning to not make those three items from scratch as he likes them but couldn't find them ready made at the market. I have never heard of a premade turkey at the market unless it's on a holiday and ordered in advance. Not around a holiday. I do agree Anna is polite. I wish JB were polite. To arrive early and expect a full spread is not polite and respectful. This isn't a small gathering. And they don't eat ham that is a simple reheat. Hosting is also getting the house ready, especially with guests who are overnight. She has a baby and two small children besides getting the house ready and cooking a meal. She wasn't making pasta. And she is doing it herself. At the large Duggar home there are several that could handle things. Josh needed a helper for one of the many rooms in the 4000 square foot house. Who helps Anna? As it is we don't know if everything cooked on time. Maybe they had to call out for pizza? I hope they show up in the house with food enough for all so Anna can relax and not worry about people getting fed. Where is the chivalry? So many episodes where some male in the family does a practical joke. Some are cute like the kid dropping the baby/doll. Some are not. And some of the teasing is not attractive.
ReplyDeleteThey have had a person or two in their lives of color. But it's interesting that in a group of 400 close family friends no one is an adult person of color. I think it's just the area they live and who could make it and who could travel to the party and have their own place to sleep. Lots of mega families with trailers on the property no doubt. So much talk about teaching self control and respect doesn't come across.
Their home school at the end was more of an online school. I believe they got their GED. That is graduating and certainly something to celebrate.

ReplyDeleteIt would take several days to thaw a turkey in the fridge completely frozen at the store. And she went to the store just before they came cause she doesn't have room in the fridge for that much food to sit for several days. I think when she got it home she put it in the sink. That taking the turkey out and showing everyone she was doing the sink defrost method was staged so people would not think she took a frozen turkey just bought and stuck it in the oven. I do agree it looked big for 4 hour cook window and the rest stage and the carving time. They should eat ham. Just reheat. But they don't eat ham. Gosh she had corn, bean casserole, veggie tray, rolls, potatoes, turkey and gravy and pie. Too much.
Why do you think they do not eat ham? They eat plenty of other pork products. I personally do not like ham.
ReplyDeleteMy family has a list of dishes a mile long for holiday meals, but that is a lot for one person to cook for all of the Duggars. Good for her trying.
Thank you very much for having this blog for ALL to view and comment on. I appreciate when you post all opinions. I like to read what others perceive of this family, good or not so good.
ReplyDeleteBunkbeds for his parents! lol I love it..typical Duggar fashion

ReplyDeleteNo, the US military is no longer safe. We have been involved in war for 12 years and the way things are looking in the world and our horrible foreign reputation, I don't see any end in sight. I will never allow my son to join and it pains me to say that. AND there have been too many changes in military policies that our troops are no longer safe even on our soil. AND the way the VA is doing such a horrible job treating our injured, no they are not safe.

ReplyDeletewhen I graduated there wasn't one black, hispanic, or Chinese, or any other but caucasion Americans in attendance either. Want to know why? The small city I grew up in was predominately white for I don't know how many years. I didn't go to school with more than a couple black kids and that was in highschool and we hung out with different groups of people I guess. I wouldn't have hesitated to invite ANY of my friends and I'm sure Josiah wouldn't have either.
