ReplyDeleteFor some reason my question is not making it thru,I hope I'm not doing something wrong, okay here goes again for the third time.I have been a loyal viewer since day one, I have seen every show many many times, my DVD is programmed for all shows even repeats or I watch them on your blog section of full videos.The Duggars give me a lift almost daily, I can count on feeling such joy after watching the show no matter how my day has been. There ministry has made a great difference in my life, as is the Duggars sole purpose and intent, so therefore when I ask you ladies these questions I hope that you maybe can help or find out for us loyal to the bone fans. Its disheartening to hear of only 10 episodes, is the season split in half? And will they show the next batch later as they have done before? I know that seasons 3 thru 7 there have been 20 plus episodes and in season 4 there were 40.Also are these 10 episodes an hour long? I know some day we will have to accept the shows demise, maybe they are weening us off now. If you can find out for us that would be a blessing to all of us.Go bless you and thanks for all hard work and the factual information you provide.

I'm sitting here looking at the pictures of Chad and Erin's wedding and I am almost in disbelief that I was so blessed to be there. The Duggars and the Bates are the superheros of my world and going to the wedding helped to show me that they are people just like you and me. Now I visit this blog which I do daily and see pictures that I was present for. It's amazing to me! I know I was there, but I still haven't fully comprehended the fact. It was an amazing eye-opening experience. Thank you Lilly and Ellie!

ReplyDeleteJust curious, after a couple is done courting and become engaged do they then hold hands and do they get more privacy with phone conversations, texting, one on one private conversations, ect. Or are they still strictly monitered?Can't wait till the girls book comes out, I'm sure they will answer some of these questions too.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what the couple decides. Some do not wear hands until the wedding day, some already hug during courtship. It's a decision between the young couple and God. :)

ReplyDeleteI Looking forward to the next ten episodes of the Duggar Family's 19 Kids & Counting TV Show, as we do not a TV cable, we have discovered we can purchase each episode off of Amazon.com from $1-$2 directly after it airs on TV, hopefully this will be helpful to all those who are unable to watch it on TV when it airs. I am very happy for Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald & their courtship, I pray the Lord will bless them, I pray their courtship will end in engagement if it is the Lord's will. Jessa is a beautiful young woman & Ben & her make a lovely couple together. I also look forward to seeing Chad & Erin Paine's wedding. I've seen a lot of Photos on the Bates Family blog posted by Mrs. Bates. They make a Beautiful Couple! God Bless!

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the shorter season has to do with the fact that the older kids are now of legal age. Maybe they are negotiating their own TLC contracts and don't want to be on TV all the time.

ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Duggar's miscarriage. I think they're a wonderful family & my prayers are with them. It is by the grace of God, Josie is doing well. but considering the outcomes of the Josie's birth & latest miscarriage, maybe it is past the time her body is able to deliver a healthy full term baby. It's sad & my own family has had to deal with loss due to the natural aging process, but we were made so the natural reproduction process ends. God gave us the good sense to know when its no longer a good idea to push nature into creating something that nature can't support. I hope they have another healthy full term infant if that's they desire. I also hope God gives them wisdom to know their wishes may not be his will & may always lead to heartbreak as Michelle ages.
ReplyDeleteHow do you teach financial responsibility to the kids? Are they required to keep an active bank account of all or part of their earnings? Do they have to account for their money and how? It is nice to see the older two boys choose their jobs. Will Jim Bob have the future wife of his sons go through him to qualify? I try to never miss the show. I love the singing and instruments.

It is such an encouragement to see young people like Jessa and Ben waiting for marriage and doing it the right way with. I feel that they have been a huge example to me with the idea of waiting for the man God has chosen for me and also waiting until marriage to kiss even. Thanks Jessa:)

I LOVE the girls' "modern modest" styles, and wish I was that good at putting together cute modest outfits. :) I always wish I could meet them and see their lovely house in person, but I'm sure that's impossible, so I just enjoy seeing the pics you post - thanks so much! :)
ReplyDeleteSadly, many mother's miscarry their first child without even knowing it. My mother was an excellent OB GYN nurse and said that. I believe that their little soul was not ready for this world yet. God Speed to the Dugars.
