  8. OK I gotta know. Are they going to be alone or chaperoned by mom and dad or/--and the gang? I can't imagine mom and dad letting them go off by themselves.

    1. If u ever watched an episode then u would know the answer to that. The girls travel without their parents or the family all the time, usually in pairs as they have similar interests and enjoy each others company, or with a friend. They have also traveled alone without the rest of the family or friends.Give the show a try you might just surprise yourself and enjoy the show.

  17. Hi Lily and Ellie,
I will be going to the Camphill, PA book signing on March 12. Do you know if you have to purchase the books at a Barnes and Noble location or can you preorder them from Amazon and bring them to the event? I know in the past that they required the books be from Barnes and Noble.

  18. Maybe Anon 13 can answer a question for me. When have the girls traveled alone other than to meet a group that was chaperoned or with their parents?? I think this would be the first time the girls would be traveling by themselves and staying in a hotel or with host families. Especially for this long of time and to soo many different places. Sorry, but I can't fatham mom and dad letting them go that long alone even though they are well beyond adult age. It would be an excellent opportunity for the girls to get out and do some experiencing by themselves though without feeling like they were being watched or supervised constantly.

  19. I'm going to try asking this one more time.

    Lily and Ellie,
Do we need to purchase the book from a Barnes and Noble location or can we purchase it from another location? I know in the past they required that if the book signed at a Barnes & Noble?

    Thanks!

  20. @Anonymous

    Hi Anonymous 23,

Sorry for the delay. Barnes & Noble usually requires that you purchase the book from them. If you buy it off their website, make sure to bring the packing slip to the signing.

  28. I just found your family blog!! How exciting for me!!! I have one question and I'm not sure if it's been asked or not because I did not take the time to read everyone's comments, however... will you be touring any more cities for the book tour, Growing up Duggar? I am in NJ and would love to be able to attend a signing if you will be traveling some more. Thanks!
