Are the younger ones also traveling? Are they still getting proper schooling while on all these trips? I know they're homeschooled and all but it just seems very diffcult to learn on the road compared to a semi schduled home enviorment.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it typical that the Duggars (not even the grown up ones) are allowed to choose a political candidate for themselves? Apparently, Dad decides for everyone else whom they are going to have to vote for...
ReplyDeleteI think it is better for the Duggars to stay home and educate their children.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!!! I live in VA, so hopefully I will see them!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! really Anon 2? I vote like the Duggars. Does that mean that some how Mr. Duggar is forcing his views on me and making me vote like him? My guess is that they, like me, agree with him.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they're coming to Regent anymore. : ( Was hoping to see them!
ReplyDeleteI think it is one thing to campaign for someone running for President-because he will also be your President if elected-but to campaign for someone running for governor in state you do not live in. Your asking people to vote for someone who make impact their lives but not yours.
ReplyDeleteFor the first commenter: several of the older Duggars use a program online to meet the requirements of their education. Not only could they do school on the bus, but the Duggars also homeschool on the weekends and throughout the summer. Not only is it possible to "do school" while they are traveling, but they find as many educational opportunities as possible while they are on the road. When most of the "bookwork" is on the computer, school can actually go pretty quickly.

ReplyDeleteIsn't it typical that someone with a nasty comment posts anonymously.
I think it's great to get young people involved in the political process at a young age to make a difference, especially when they are a supporting an honest man with morals & whose decisions are based on ethics, not relative truth!!!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how much time the Duggar's spend on the road and how or if this impacts their homeschool, but I noticed that on the schedule they were only in Virginia for 3 days. I wouldn't necessarily jump to conclusions based on our limited window into their lives that they are neglecting the children's education. Their travels alone are quite an education, and it seems likely that they bring their studies along on the bus. But again, I have no idea. I don't wish to be critical of the post suggesting that they should be home more, I merely wish to suggest that we only have a glimpse into their lives, not the whole picture.
