Josh and Anna Duggar and their three children have been in Washington D.C. for nearly two months. How did Josh land his new job at FRC Action (an affiliate of the Family Research Council)?

Josh's passion for politics began 15
years ago when Jim Bob Duggar ran for Arkansas House of Representatives and
won. Jim Bob involved his family of 13 in his political career from the
start, and Josh has had an interest in politics ever since.
But when Tony Perkins, president of
the Family Research Council, approached him about a job opening earlier this
year, Josh was hesitant.
Marcus Duggar--2 months old |
“I attended the 2013 March for Life in January
– my first time to attend – and I bumped into Tony Perkins,” Josh told the
American Family Association Journal.
Josh offered to help find
candidates for the position, but Tony Perkins had something else in mind. “What about you?” he
asked the 24-year-old.
“No,” Josh answered, “I’m
comfortable running my business back home in Arkansas.”

The two men resolved to pray about
it, and five months later, Josh and Anna and their three children – ages
3, 2, and newborn – were moving to D.C.
Despite his age, Josh has big plans
for his political career: “It’s time to say enough is enough,” he said, “to
share our thoughts and vision, to work together, to share information and
materials, to provide resources for each other, from D.C. to our own hometowns.
I’m just invigorated by it all."
WE KNEW ALL ALONG IT WAS A POLITICAL AGENDA! THATS NOT NEWS. ALSO NEEDS TO FIND OTHER TOPIOS TO STAND FOR BESIDE ABORTION, HELP THE NEEDY IN WASHINGTON DC! ALSO HOMELESS VETERANS, ONLY FOR 1 CAUSE MANY OTHERS OUT THERE BESIDE ABORTIONS,
ReplyDeleteDude seriously!!! They're just giving an update on Josh & Anna!!! It's also easier to say to help the needy than to actually do it, Are YOU helping the poor and needy in your community??? And I'm actually pretty confident that they do.
DeleteCould you be more specific as to how Josh and Anna help the poor and needy in their community?
DeleteIf Josh feels connected to this organization/philosophy and passionate about politics; good for him. I think he needs to consider furthering his education in order to achieve his political goals.
ReplyDeleteI think its good Joshua is taking a stand against abortion and doing the job he is doing. We need more people like him to take a stand for the good morals he and his family stand for. We need God in America again.
ReplyDeleteYou do know god was never in America right? The fonding fathers had no intention for religion to dictate govement decisions hence Seperation of Church and State. They would be ashamed by the state of our country well after they get over cars and airplanes.
DeleteGood For Josh!!! Other doors may open, in the meantime learn as much as you can.
ReplyDeleteAre Josh and Anna having any more kids?
ReplyDeleteRemember you need a college degree in todays world in order to achive a position in the political world or in any other executive job. Start working on that and may God help you with all your dreams.
ReplyDeleteI rarely agree with this post, but I totally disagree with this one. I am an extremely successful single person that if you include all my benefits, I make right at six figures and I don't have a degree. My peers have a degree. I am just smart. Just born that way. Got to where I am with brains minus the degree. Sorry.
