And the Name is...

Josh and Anna shared the name of their latest addition with the Today Show this morning:

 Marcus Anthony Duggar

Marcus Meets the Family
"Mackynzie and Michael are thrilled to welcome a little brother, and we are so thankful that mom and baby are well," Josh and Anna told TODAY.com "We are blessed to have our family close as we celebrate this gift from God!"

Tune in to TLC on Father's Day (Sunday, June 16th) at 8PM EST/7PM CST for 19 Kids and Counting "GrandDuggar Makes 3!" The episode will feature the birth, assisted by Jana and Jill Duggar.

    Michelle told me and my family that they were naming it Marcus when we went to their house 5 weeks ago! She told us to keep it a secret.

    I have looked at my tv guide several times and it doesn't show that the Duggars will air on June 16th? What am I missing? I leave town tomorrow for two weeks and will be so sad to miss it if it doesn't record!!:(

    Good name. I like it. My older son is named Anthony. Congratulations to Josh and Anna and the whole Duggar clan on the arrival of Marcus Anthony. A blessing indeed!

    how much did he weigh??? i thought they moved when did they have him did they do a home birth? or at the hospital...when are they going to move..i wonder if jill and jana helped her if she did a home birth when was he born....

    Is Anthony a family name? Seems like they could have picked something a little less famous. So close to mark Anthony. To each their own I guess.

    Anna looks so good, better than most mothers look shortly after delivering. She and the baby seem to be thriving; I'm happy that they are both well :) Marcus is a great name, doesn't it originate from Mark the disciple of Jesus?

    Josh must b pulling extra daddy duty so Anna can get plenty of rest and recover he looks so tired am she looks so bright eyes and well rested lol have to say I'm a little shocked at the name but I sure just like w the other two there a reason behind it

    I think they picked Anthony exactly because it's close to Mark Anthony. Maybe they thought that with them moving to DC a name of Roman politician would suit the baby best.

    I know this particular post is about the new baby Marcus but...I could not help but notice Joy~Anna's shorn hair! :( Why? If there is an answer that you know of please reply. It's just,it was getting so long and beautiful! :'( ~Rebekah

    A question to Lily and Ellie: it seems all of the blogs have those "Lulu" advertisements... I clicked on it once to see what they were all about and the results were,shall we say...not pretty. I do not mean to complain to YOU but is there any way to get rid of those? Or do they come with the free blog site? THANKS in advance...
