Hi, I live in Japan and am fluent in Japanese, and it was interesting to watch how they portrayed your lovely family on that program.
ReplyDeleteThey got the part about homeschooling right, but they said that the reason was because you lived far from the school.
It was a very positive piece about your family and everyone was very impressed on how the older children looked after the younger ones etc, and that you could fed your family on so little!
Bless you

The direct link is just the same. It gets stuck more than it works. And unlike youtube, you can't load it and then go back and watch smoothly. Whatever, thanks anyway...

ReplyDeleteDo you think you might have time to type up a transcript of the Duggar section of the show in English? It was really hard to get through because I had no clue what they were saying and what the jokes were. But I have to admit, the Japanese people's expressions were priceless when they were shocked about what they as of the Duggars! Thanks for explaining what was going on. God bless, ilse
ReplyDeleteDear Lily and Ellie, I saw a clip of the Duggars on the Japanese show answering questions with those little paddle things, you know? It's not on YouTube anymore, and I was wondering if you or anyone else on this blog knew where to find it. I don't know why it isn't on the link you provided. The rest of the video worked fine, it just didn't include the part I wanted most to see. Thanks for any help! ilse
