    I thought Michelle was going to be speaking in San Diego in October-was that conference cancelled or was Michelle speaking cancelled

    Since I am from Southern California, Colorado would be the closest meeting place. It would be unusual for me to attend a conference for women, for I am a young man; Big Sandy would be the next runner up. :-\

    omg the duggars are coming within an hr away from where i live!!! not sure if i'll be able to go and see them but how exciting!! the 3rd is the day after my daughtrer's 6th birthday!!! maybe we can go around the location in hopes to get to meet them...who knows but im so excited!!! cant wait to tell my husband and girls!!!! :-D

    We were going to see them at camp this year, but aren't going to make it. Hoping for ATI in April. We go for the fellowship, though. I pray nobody starts going to our Christian camps and homeschool conferences just to meet famous people. That's not what they are for : (

    I wish they'd come to Kentucky! Preferrably northern Kentucky right across from Cincinnati, but I'll take Louisville or Lexington!

    The Duggars and other like families hardly ever travel to New England. The Maxwells have come twice (I think). Not sure why that is or what they are afraid of here in the northeast! We want them here!!!

    @proverbs mama wouldnt the people who follow the duggars already be like minded people? Wouldnt it be good if the fellow ship they would get at your group outing would encourage them in their walk?

    What I don't understand is why the Duggar's feel a need to hand out their picture to everyone they meet. They should be handing out a picture of Our Savior and a Bible. Not themselves. People should be directed to look to Christ Not THEM!!
    People if you need direction and encouragement--OPEN YOUR BIBLE and Pray to your Heavenly Father--Only He can give you the peace, direction, and encouragement that prevents you from ever thirsting again!!

    Personally, I am happy for their success. I am sure they would say, with the angel in Revelation, "Worship God"; but they're getting their day in the sun, and I think they've earned it - and that they are endeavoring to use it to the glory of God. My two cents? Pray for them. Success and popularity are great, but not always everything they are cracked up to be. Tell you what, bro: if I get the chance to meet this family and get a photo directly from the, I am TAKING IT!

    It has not yet been determined how many Duggar kids will be attending. Jim Bob did say that the whole family will not be coming, but he and Michelle and 2 or 3 of the older children will be speaking.
